20 minute morning slow flow 10 minute chest and back 45 minute/4.25 mile interval run outdoors
Some wild stuff is happening at work, so I have a walk planned during the town hall where they're going to try to explain it to all of us, which should help me calm down and focus on the message.

Hey everyone, I haven't been around for a bit due to work travel last week, but I'm catching up and proud of everyone's consistency!
I'm hanging in there, getting in at least one strength workout a week while my weekly mileage creeps up. Last weekend was 17 miles, this weekend is 18-20, and I'm off again traveling for work next week.
Marathon is coming up fast at the end of April, only five weeks away yikes!

Good morning! OTF this morning was a tornado at my studio- lots of moving stations. I love those workouts because it means 3.5 min blocks on the treadmill. 😂

Howdy.
I fell back asleep after my early alarm even though I felt fine enough to get up. Ugh.
I did a 30 minute climb ride with Charlotte after school. She is so excellent. I did a 5 minute core and stretch too. Yoga tonight.
I need to get up and run tomorrow.
DD2 has been a meltdown train wreck and I'm feeling burnt out on kids right now.

Happy friday! Yesterday I fit in a 15 min full body stretch while working from home. C tested positive for strep. So I am working from home again today.
I got up and completed 20 min upper body with callie 10 min yoga flow with Kirra
I need 20 more miles to hit a goal for the month and i need to somehow figure out how to get them in.

Thank goodness it's Friday. Yesterday I took a rest day, after logging 7 miles on Tuesday and a 45 minute speed intervals run on Wednesday for another 4.5 miles. I meant to get out with the Trail Sisters last night before it rains this weekend, but I just couldn't muster the energy.
I have 5ish miles on my schedule for this afternoon/evening. With rain predicted I can't say where that will be, inside or out. Then tomorrow is 18-20 miles!
But first I need to get through this work day.

Got in almost 6 miles in yesterday (threshold run) and a little over 2.5 today (recovery run). I might try to go to the gym later, but I'm not sure if I can fit that in with everything else (I just found out that some SOP documents are apparently missing from a shared drive so I'll be spending some time hunting those down).
Food continues to be not all great but good enough. I'm so tired of thinking about what to eat!

OTF was a run/row and body work today. Basically torture. I usually like run/rows a lot, but this was a repeat of the longer runs (0.8, 0.6, etc). I didn’t *hate* it, and feel good about my endurance. I did hate the bosu stuff haha.
Two of the women there, regulars that I don’t usually talk to as much as some others, both told me today that they are always impressed with how strong I am (on the weight floor). It really made my day!

Howdy
I planned to take a rest day today because I am so fucking tired, but DD2 woke up with a fever. We were all going to go see Ghostbusters tonight, but now just H and DD1 went and I'm home with the other two. DS is playing nicely and DD2 passed out on the couch, so I ended up working out, because why not. Rest, who needs that.
I took it pretty easy. I did the Troye Sivan run with Matty. She fell asleep watching the new trolls movie and he voices one of the main characters, so it felt appropriate. Did a 10 minute upper body with Callie, 5 minute core with Robin, and a stretch with Hosky.
I've decided to work backwards through the 5 minute core catalog and that class was entirely planks. I'm pretty good at planks, I actually like them, but woof, that was hard. Bookmarking and rotating it in for sure. It's from 2/10/21 for anyone else who wants death by planks.
DD2 requested pizza and cake for dinner, that delivery just showed up. Who am I to deny my poor sick child of pizza and rainbow cake?

Yesterday got away from me (20 min zone 2 run) so I tacked it onto my brick today.
So 40 min indoor cycle (because hello again winter 😫) and 20 min treadmill jog.

Bleh. Good afternoon.
I had a much longer run planned for today, but our morning was a fucking wreck and we had shit to do today, so I had to drop it down. Crabby.
45 minute interval run with Wilpers 5 minute core with Olivia 5 minute stretch with Camila
Yoga tonight, because I've skipped it two nights in a row now and three times this week.
I just ate solid food for the first time like half an hour ago, and it was candy, so I'm crushing today.

In 11 days, I ran/walked 234km (over 20km a day), got 2nd place on our team and overall the whole competition raised 1 million dollars for cancer research.

Yoga tonight. I skipped it again last night because the kids were up ridiculously late with us.
I need to cook and food prep. Our groceries are being pulled now, so hopefully I can go get this really soon and get that done and over with.

I ended up having to work 4 days in the office this past week and work dinners each night so after 13 hour days, I was too wiped out to workout.
I napped and relaxed yesterday but got back it today.
I did my first Adult Beginner Ballet class (on YT) and while I’ve taken Barre classes from time to time the past decade, ballet is even harder and I was a sweaty mess when the 30-minute all-barre class finished. It was humbling but inspiring and I definitely want to keep this as my Sunday workout. I also at least looked the part in my attire - leotard, tights, wrap skirt and sweater, leg warmers, and slippers. All in the peachy ballet pink I’ve loved since I first took lessons as a kid.
I added on a 10-minute standing yoga with Kristin afterwards.

I’m here.
Squats and bench yesterday. Nothing amazing or sexy but got the work done.
Today was sprint bike and woof. My butt is very unaccustomed to the bike. I wore my cheaper shorts on Friday and that was a mistake. (They’re also ridiculously tight now so…)
My mom and I officially signed up for a tri today, we were debating which race to do because the one we wanted initially said $300 😱 (for sprint distance). I’m glad I rechecked because it must have been an error. I’ll probably do at least one more but not sure which. There’s one near our town, I wouldn’t have to get a hotel but the swim/run transition is SO awful.

20 minute interval run with JTR 20 minute interval run with Susie 10 minute glutes and legs with Jess 5 minute core with Callie 10 minute stretch with Robin
I came really close to my PR in the JTR run. Both runs were 4x3" on and 1" off, but Joslyn's was all on incline. I think I'll retake that one on fresher legs at not 4am and grind it out for a new PR.
We ate so much garbage all weekend. I need vegetables and water today.

As predicted, I did not get to the gym Friday, but that's ok. I ended up running to it Saturday and got a good workout in (and a ride home w/ mh so I didn't have to run after doing squats lol). Sunday I got out early for 8 miles in cool but sunny weather. My plan for today is to hit the gym for another lifting session and a little bit of racquetball practice, plus a short easy run. And some meal prep.

Y’all are crushing it!
Yesterday I did a yoga flow class with Denis. Today I had a post-op follow-up with my surgeon and things are looking pretty good. I can lose the boot! Permission to do some low-impact cycling as long as I don’t crank the resistance. (So some PZE rides should be perfect.) No swimming yet. Obviously no running yet but I need to re-start PT. Al in all, things are looking up!

Saturday ended the run for kids drama club, so that was a rest day. Yesterday I did a 30 minute outdoor walk.
Today, I hit that 10 min barre class again because it was that good kind of burn, and a 10 min upper body strength class.
Tomorrow is a long, stressful day. Hoping I can drag out of bed to cycle in the AM to start out the day right.
