I put off my workout until the afternoon, which is not my normal, but usually would make me skip it all together since I spent the day getting sidetracked. 15 minute pilates, 20 minute full body strength, and a walk in on and off rain with DS and the dog. I got up this morning for 20 minutes of yoga live, and am planning on a run after I finish my coffee/the sun comes up. The dog and I will take a short walk, too.

30 minute PZ pop ride with Hannah. LOVE that she does PZ rides now.
And it’s paczki time! Peter Pan sells them today and Tuesday only. (Fat Thursday and Fat Tuesday.) I picked up a dozen to share with folks at work.

5 am OTF today. I took a NyQuil and went to bed early last night, and was up in plenty of time, surprisingly. I power walked instead of running, which was my plan even before the endurance on the treadmill. Not feeling 100% , but not really feeling worse than yesterday which is good. Just a little congested.

Got in a good workout this morning.
10 min warm up walk with Jon H 30 min interval run with Logan 20 min focus flow hips with Aditi
That run was the longest I’ve run/jogged consecutively since I started back with running. I took no walk breaks. Feeling pretty pumped about that even though it was tough.

Someone on Reddit recommended Logan's latest Extra 10: Lower Legs strength as a great calf warmup and activation for a run, so I tried that last night. Lots of hopping, it was VERY fun.
After that I did a 30 minute intervals run also with Logan, and a 5 minute cooldown also with Logan, for a total of about 3.6 miles.
Planning on the Thursday night Trail Sisters run tonight, since it's finally dry.

I did my 300th meditation yesterday and got a shoutout from Mariana!
Then this morning I got up to do my 450th strength milestone with Ben and he also gave me a shoutout omg. I'm going to be doing that core class forever now.🤣

Haha notexactly you just reminded me that my 5 minute cooldown run last night was my 350th run and I was like....oh. I have gotten really bad about tracking milestones!

Little speed workout today. Felt awful, I can tell I’ve been on my feet more than usual. But once I started I told myself I could do “just one” which wasn’t bad and then did all 3. 🙃 Anyway 2.5 miles today and putting my feet up!

Today was 3.5 easy miles for me. I’m finding it much easier to stick to an easy pace now that I have a dedicated speed day. I was really trying to stay in zone 2 but running into the 20mph wind was a mess and I ended up in zone 3 for most of the run by a whopping 3 bpm 🙄 Also did W2D2 of beginner strength. loki I’m glad to hear that eventually the warmups won’t be so repetitive. I actually cheated today and just played the 10 min warm up while I got setup. I figured I was warm from my run and then they did another 5 mins in the class so whatever lol

Back at it tonight: 4 miles in the form of 400m repeats, then hills. My Garmin watch tried to tell me that I did a 1km and 1 mi PR but is it just adding up the run portions of the repeats, and not the rest/recovery portion? Because I def did not run at those paces for more than the 400m. Feels like cheating that it counts as a PR lol

I got four miles in today! In less than 44 minutes without sprinting at the end 😂. Feeling good about my easy miles. 6 to go tomorrow.

Morning.
I never really checked in yesterday. I slept in then did a 10 minute core focus flow and a 20 minute focus flow for riders, both with Kristen last night.
Today I didn't roll out of bed until 4:20, so I had to swap out one of my runs because I wouldn't have time because I got such a late start.
30 minute pop run with Camila Extra 10 run with Camila 5 minute core with Callie 5 minute stretch with Camila
We're going to a hockey game tonight, so no yoga. Food, we'll see if I eat anything there. The kids will for sure want some junk food.

Ah shoot I haven't been in here since Tuesday and I have some catching up to do! Workouts have been spot on; perfect workout week and glad my schedule allowed it! Still on my core streak. This weekend will be a challenge but surely I can fit in 5-10 min of core! W- spin, body pump, core Th- yoga/pilates & core F- body pump, elliptical and core.
Food has been good. I've been enjoying yogurt + protein powder and berries for 40g protein right off the bat for breakfast. Last night was cheeseburger salad which is always a family fav.
Goal this weekend is to really meal plan for the upcoming week. I suck at that so we'll see.
TGIF!

6.5 cold and muddy miles on the trails last night with the sisters, planning a rest day today with maybe a walk and some yoga. It's not supposed to rain again for a week! Happy Friday!

5 miles yesterday afternoon, did a mix of time intervals (2 minutes fast, 1 min slow) on a gravel/packed dirt trail. Will hit the gym in just a bit, and tomorrow holds a 12 mile run w/ the training group. Food has been pretty good all week, been keeping up on cooking and stuff which is nice (and makes it easier to stick to the choices I should be making). I will be having the worst nachos in the world (i.e., tortillas with that canned jalapeño cheese) Superbowl Sunday.

Overhead press today. Blah. Chin ups are also blah. I’m in middle of no man’s land on the assist machine where the options are 35 or 45 lbs. I really need 40 darn it!!
Did a bunch of batch cooking today in prep for the weekend.

6.4 miles outside today on the hilly roads that I’ll be doing my 10k on in a few weeks. I wanted to get it done and experience it before the race and miles 2-4 are just gonna suck 😂. But I can plan my training around mid run elevation gains now and I know I can finish it, especially with race day adrenaline on my side.

Squeezed in a quick 20 min walk yesterday. The sun has finally returned (for a few days)
First run in over a month - 30 min Shake it Off outdoor run Omg it’s so nice out but the wind is blowing one of our neighbor’s wood stove smoke directly towards our house and making it hard to enjoy sitting outside.

Today was a 4 mile run for me. I came back and tried to do my peloton stack but it was a mess. I guess yesterday there was a tornado here in Wisconsin (weirdest winter!!) that knocked out the internet. It’s back intermittently so I just did barre and ALW and then gave up because it kept freezing on me.

Morning.
It is 52 and sunny outside, you guys. Normally this time of year in upstate NY it's sub zero wind chills with many feet of snow. It's ridiculous. So I ran outside today because it's fucking glorious. I negative split 5 fabulous miles, the last two being sub-9. Felt amazing. I did a quick 5 minute stretch after.
Core and yoga tonight.
