I had a very weird day yesterday - I pushed off my usual morning run due to a morning PTA meeting, and a disgruntled parent yelled at our president and myself (actually some useful feedback, but delivered in a very unkind way). So I came home, ran (but was interrupted by a handful of folks wanting to debrief from the meeting), and then took another long walk during a meeting, as well as walking DS back to our carpool friends house to pick up something he forgot. I ended the day with 20k+ steps.

Thanks for the love everyone. My ankle is still swollen but now a yellowish green color, which Dr. Google tells me means it’s healing. I have a doctors appointment on Monday afternoon, which is supposed to be focused on the posterior tibial tendon issue. I’m a little nervous about what she’s going to say about the sprain, and if that affects things. But, nothing ai can do at this point. I will keep icing, etc. it FEELS a lot better, so hopefully it will also look less gnarly by the weekend.
I did Sam Yo’s 30 minute PZE from earlier this morning. It was a good gentle, yet challenging ride, especially with my new zones.
I’ll brace up and wear good shoes for the rest of the day!

Morning.
5 minute warm up ride with Tunde 30 minute trance ride with Charlotte Extra 10 ride with Leanne 10 minute upper body strength with Ben 5 minute core with Tunde 5 minute stretch with Emma
Yoga tonight.
Seriously hodge podge workout this morning. I also skipped taking a melatonin last night and even though I took longer to fall asleep, I didn't feel the same type of tired when my alarm went off. I got right up without any issues, so maybe that's part of it. I don't know.
Food should be fine.

I did my 200th run tonight and got a shout out from Kirsten! With that class I also hit 4k mins🙌🏻 Damn girl! Congratulations on the milestone, shout out, and being at 4k minutes already. Beast mode! Thanks so much! It took me forever to do 200 runs lol. But as I am getting better at running, I can see why you runners are so addicted to it. It's actually pretty dang fun!

3 miles yesterday, 3-4 today after work is the goal. I went sort of easy/medium yesterday, it’s hard to run slower sometimes! That’s the goal today and for Friday’s run, then back to adding in speed work next week.

I went to OTF this morning and I’m glad I did. I’m definitely more congested than yesterday, but I don’t really feel any worse overall? And I wasn’t congested until after my workout lol.
I was able to maintain my paces with increasing incline on the tread, and felt good with the floor exercises.

- 30 min TSY2 Full Body Strength with Ben (so tough as I upped my weights to 15lbs on several moves, including the EMOM at the end) - 10 min TSY2 Full Body Stretch with Ben

This morning was a 30 minute legs and glutes workout with Olivia. My lunges were actually better which shocked me. I guess maybe you can get better at something if you practice. I've gotten in yoga the last 2 nights. It is a nice wind down activity after the kids go to bed. I'm hoping to keep with it. bunnyfungo - I wanted to tell you that the warm-ups get better further on in the program and not just a repeat of the 10 minute warm-up. It was really repetitive in the beginning.

Deadlift/bench today
I used 45 plates for deadlifts!!! 💪🏻🎉 lol I felt badass.
Bench is still bench. Meh. But I attempted an increase and got 2 reps (goal 5) so still calling it a win.
Lots of other good stuff today too.

I rolled my (already bad) ankle Sunday morning, resulting in the outside being swollen in addition to the inside, so the past two days were rest, ice, compression, and anti-inflammatories. It’s still swollen and a little tender but much better than it was so I did an easy 30 minute intervals and arms today, opting to stay in the saddle the whole time. And I’ll ice, etc more tonight. Sorry for the injury, hope it's only a minor setback!

Evening!
20 min density training with Andy. Jesus Christ I'll be glad when that's over - one more workout. I'm so bored doing the same moves. At least his music is half decent. 10 min core with Rebecca, 10 min Pilates with Anna, 10 min barre with Hannah.
B - Skinnytaste bagel, turkey bacon L - the other half of the Italian hoagie I got yesterday for dinner D - lettuce wraps with ground chicken, brown rice, edamame S - TBD, prob pretzels and cottage cheese

I split my workout today due to some time constraints in the morning. Although happy to report I got up on my first alarm no snoozing today.
Morning: 30 min disco ride with Hannah F Extra 10 listening party ride with Denis
Evening: 30 min full body strength with Ben (TSY2 w3d2) 10 min full body stretch with Ben
The strength class was tough today. There is just no rest and today he did blocks of 5 exercises in a row and then just a 30 second rest. I was cursing sweet Ben a bit.
