I feel like we’re tempting fate here since I’m 37w, but H’s vasectomy is Thursday 😂 Not that I’ve ever gone into labor early or even on time, but that would suck. He needs about 5 days to recover (he says).

Nymeria , yes! We talked about when sitting upright, to sit tilted forward. Like you're sitting on the front of your pelvic circle. I'm so bad at this - I'm most comfortable partially reclined on the couch! But that just allows baby to flop to either side! Hands and knees is great because gravity encourages baby's back to "hammock" down in your belly. Sitting on the ball, legs wide is good, swaying and dipping hips when standing. She showed me a rebozo technique, that uses a woven wrap or long scarf to help support the belly and provides a little "jiggling" sensation that can help encourage repositioning baby. You need another person to control the wrap. There's a forward leaning inversion you can do that should help baby kind of float back up out of the pelvis a little, then when you come back up (or better first to hands and knees) baby has the opportunity to come back down into the pelvis in a better position. Like if baby's head were a little crooked and needed the opportunity to straighten out. She also showed us a couple kind of pressure spots to help relieve some different pains. She's certified in Spinning Babies so I think most of the info is actually on that website! I know I'm certainly not explaining these very well 😕 so I'd recommend checking out the website if you have time for better details. I just went to look at it again now and there's tons of stuff on there! It's spinningbabies.com/ Lounging on the couch probably explains why this kid seems to be hanging out on my right side. Sitting up/forward causes pain along the top of my bump/ribs and also puts pressure on my tailbone. I've been using the exercise ball all weekend though and it seems to help with sitting up and also leaning on it. I'm hoping this kid falls into place lol

After an especially painful evening last Thursday, I started making some calls on Friday to find out what my insurance covers as far as chiropractic care. Today I made an appt for this Friday. Maybe it will help make these last few weeks more bearable. Plus, I had pretty bad back pain for months after DS was born, so it'll be helpful then too. I'm gonna max out my insurance policy anyways, so I may as well go all out!

Nymeria Oh Hell No. I just got a Venti latte from Starbucks this morning and dare anyone to say anything to me about it (150-190 mg of caffeine depending on which website you ask). Coffee is necessary for surviving pregnancy and toddler and work.
