I've finally been tackling some of the dreaded clutter! I got one of the worst culprits pretty decently under control this weekend and another small pile mostly taken care of yesterday. And I went through some cabinets this weekend and "found" myself a whole, clean shelf for pump parts, bottles and stuff. Excellent.
Over the course of the past few days I've also gotten the bassinet cleaned and set up beside my bed. It's really weird to have it there 😳 It was downstairs for a couple days and DS was enjoying putting all of his toys in there and telling them night-night. Baby's not gonna stand a chance! I can see baby in the glider or bouncer seat in the living room, piled high with DS's toys 😂

Feeling uncomfortable all the time right now and I’m only at 31 weeks, not sure how I will make it to 39 weeks.

Just got back to work from a chiropractor appointment. The rain I had to drive through to get there was ridiculous!! The highway was going 15mph and practically came to a full stop at times because the rain was so heavy.

We've already surpassed our average for the month and it's only the 14th. 2 years ago our yard was fried and we were worried about our well running out around now, and this year everything is lush and green and not at all August-like!

Nymeria meggriffin sorry for all the rain and the roof trouble - that's no fun and certainly not ideal timing 😕

Nymeria & meggriffin sorry for all the rain. We have had a fair bit here but then we have a few scorching hot days in between.

I'm sure this baby will sleep with many random things that big sister shares with him or her. I just hope she doesn't try to put blankets on the baby like she does her dolls, she usually smothers them 😬

I had my first ever chiropractor appointment yesterday - pretty sure my pelvis is even more sore today then it was before I went. But I’m hoping it will improve with a couple more treatments.
I feel completely unprepared for this baby and have no idea what to do. We’re living with my in-laws while our house is being renovated... the original completion day was supposed to be Sept 15th. I’m thinking we will be lucky to be in by October.

It's a lot easier to focus on getting just those things ready! Diapers, wipes, clothes, a place for baby to sleep. Also clean pacifiers, bottles and pump parts. Formula if you're FFing. Some sort of nose sucker. Burp clothes if you expect a puker! I wish renovation stuff ran better on time. I'm sorry that you are unable to be at home right now.

It took up the whole thing! Definitely will need to set boundaries immediately.

Please send rain to the West coast! We have wild fires everywhere and the air quality is so bad we can't go outside!

I feel like most of the time I'm talking to a wall with the lack of listening and following directions that is going on. Hopefully we can get through to her though that baby doesn't need all the things with it to sleep!

It can be a big change for your body when you haven't been adjusted before - just like muscles get sore after a new workout. It should hopefully ease up. Although part of my treatments has been the chiro using a tool called an activator to help even out my pubic bone. That has caused a couple sore spots that almost feel like a bruise, but they're not terrible and overall soreness should go away.

Depending on his mood...! It'll definitely take a few times of telling him he can't put stuff in baby's face, but he'll get it. I'm not too worried 🙂

She was very concerned with baby still sitting breech so she wanted to do adjustments right away. I feel like I’ve been kicked in the pelvis/crotch area. Lol I’m just hoping it works.

I had my first adjustment the same day as my consultation. FX baby flips quickly for you and your start to feel less sore!! My guy wasn't breech when I started but in general I find I feel a lot better moving around on days I get adjusted now. Sitting on an exercise ball also seems to help keep things looser and more open which in turn is supposed to help baby find the more ideal positions to be in.

I agree about the exercise ball — if I’m going to be sitting for any extended amount of time I definitely feel better on that than on a chair. I’m starting to feel a lot of pressure on my pelvic region every time I get up from sitting for a while, it goes away after moving around a bit. The joys!

Sitting in an office chair is the worst part of my day, physically. My pelvic area and tailbone just get...stiff?

DD starts 1st grade tomorrow. I'm not at all prepared. We had dentist appointments after work then when we got home it was dinner, trim nails and shower, then bed. We set her clothes out for tomorrow and went over the schedule. Then I packed my lunch, her lunch, and got dinner prepped for the slow cooker tomorrow.
I wish I had known today was the day before school when I scheduled her appointment earlier this year. I feel like we would have had more time this evening and I'd feel less stressed.

Sitting in an office chair is the worst part of my day, physically. My pelvic area and tailbone just get...stiff? Ugh getting out of my chair at work sucks. I have to stand up, wait a few seconds, then I can start walking but it's very gingerly at first. It seems like no matter how properly (or poorly) I sit in my chair it takes so much time to get up and moving.

Well, I'm glad to hear that it seems to be "normal" for your pelvis to feel like it's gonna break every time you stand up after sitting for a bit 😂 I've been having this BAD lately. I can hardly walk and it's so painful until things... I don't know... loosen back up? Settle back in? But I still have the same pain standing up even when sitting on the exercise ball 😕 I got the ball out again recently in hopes it would help, but I still feel like I'm about to break!

Tonight was our meet the teacher night and the kids first day is Thursday. The beginning of school is always so exhausting feeling a million months pregnant isn’t helping. But it’s always such an exciting time that FLIES by. I’m just sore and exhausted.
I think with M because I worked the whole school year because she was due in June my stamina must have been higher or the end of school is just that much easier....

For those who are dying in chairs (I sit on this bench too). Find a chair you can sit on backwards. I know it sounds dumb but OMG it helps!

Funny - I feel like I just read this tip somewhere else too! I haven't tried it cause I have tall kitchen chairs. It would be awkward trying to mount/dismount them! Haha!
