We decided to venture to the splash pad today, and DS had the best time! He was shivering after a while, so I wrapped him up in a towel while he ate his peanut butter sandwich, then we walked for a bit. He was so overtired by the time we got home he was trying to hit me, and put up a fight before I put him down for nap. He hasn't made a sound since I shut the door, so I'm guessing he crashed pretty hard. Now I'm just sitting here eating watermelon, it's delicious. All of this sounds like a great day, minus the attempting hitting of course. H & I have been killing the watermelons lately. So. Good. |

thatgirlrachel Yeah, the hitting is kind of a new thing...we're working on that. lol My H doesn't like watermelon, it's one of the few foods he doesn't like. Oh well, more for me!

Hey hey! I've read nothing. Popping in to say hi. We picked MIL up from the airport this morning, then drove to PA.
Our nephew is graduating HS tomorrow, so we're visiting SIL & BIL and their family. DD is having a lot of fun with her cousin. I'm hoping she wears her out so she sleeps tonight.

Quick AW alert - I know it doesn't mean a whole lot but my first beta # and my progesterone level were both on the high end for my gestational age! I go in tomorrow for my next draw but this is some encouraging news.

Took DD to the mall and stopped by Destination Maternity and got 2 maxi dresses and 2 maxi skirts and they were the last ones in my size so it was meant to be... she did great in the store and I let her play in the kids area after

Ugh had total scale shock at my appointment this week. I'm being active and mostly healthy, but I can definitely cut out some junk. I think I'll just try harder to not eat everything all the time and I might get on the scale backwards from now on. 😐

I had DD's 18 month pictures scheduled for this weekend and just realized there is a 90% chance of rain (they are outside). Now I'm bummed because I'm not sure when we can reschedule. First world problems, right?

rebeccabunch It's 8am on Friday where I am, so we're about 12 hours ahead of the states. Exactly 12 hours opposite from central time (if that helps). So, I can typically catch the "before bedtime posting" and the "wake-up/morning before work posting." I'm just on the opposite side of those.....hope that makes sense!

Hey there! Today was busy at work, so I wasn't really able to check in.
DS was feeling hot before bed, but didn't have a fever. I've heard him coughing some too. DH is feeling congested and also complaining about being hot. I need these guys to get it together.

DH has a sinus cold thing...man flu...send help. And DD has been overtired pretty much since I get her home from daycare every night this week. Major meltdowns with tears and screaming and flailing. Oy vey. I could use a drink...

This is me only it doesn't matter if she's gone to preschool or not. Since she's not napping anymore she's a whiny butt in the evenings... there are many a day where I wish I could have a drink |
