I just got off the phone with Amex. There were fraudulent charges on my account. Not the best way to start the day, but the customer service was incredible. I'm traveling for a conference this weekend and they assured me I'll have the new card tomorrow.

blackmamba Glad the customer service was good but oh no to the charge! Glad they could resolve it quickly for you! DD and I are up visiting my mom for awhile (H is teaching summer school for 3 weeks). She's the only grandkid on that side so they love having her up. My grandparents also live nearby and are in great health so we all spend a lot of time together. Today's plan is to shop a little for some summer maternity shorts and maybe some tops and maybe lunchbout before naps!

I'm on-call for work this week and it is the busy season. Got a call last night as I was walking to bed, and another one this morning before I was out of bed. Then all last night DS was up every 30 minutes asking for a drink - went through two whole cups and had a gigantic diaper (thank goodness it held it all in). On top of that I was having trouble falling asleep between wake-ups due to not being able to find a comfortable position. I need a do-over for sleep!

I am so tired lately. It's like I can't catch up on sleep. I got DD a potty seat this week so we are working to get her familiar with the seat, but not certainly not rushing anything too soon. So far we haven't had any action but she is more than willing to sit on the seat with no issues. So I'm taking it as a win for now.

DD was up at 4:30 because DH didn't dress her properly for bed and she got cold. Of course she didn't want to go back to sleep, I put the tv on after DH left for work at 6 and napped for a bit. I'm going to drive her around the neighborhood in a bit to see if I can get her to take a nap. Other than that no real plans for the day.

blackmamba Like was for the AMEX customer service - I love them and always try to use AMEX over my other cards because of it. thatgirlrachel Exciting news about the potty! We just potty trained DS, and I think it was helpful that he was used to sitting on it before we actually began formal training.

Today was an okay day for us. DS was in a great mood and had fun at swimming lessons, which is a win. I had a weekly checkup with my MFM where we received some not so great news though. I am still at very high risk of PPROM, because my amniotic sac membranes are thinning  . They also found a new medium sized SCH, which is frustrating, because the old one just went away last week. Ugh. We are taking it one week at a time and praying that my waters don't break before 24 weeks (I am 20 weeks on Friday). More bedrest, meds, and fluids for me. On the bright side, baby looks great and is healthy - growing right on track and very active. I just need to keep him inside and cooking! |

On the plus side, we had our anatomy scan yesterday! Baby still lookin good and on track. His right kidney was dilated though which the MFM said could just be nothing and resolve itself, it could be present at birth though and resolve after a few months OR need surgical correction. So it's a wait and see. NBD in utero though.
She also said it's seen more commonly in Down' s syndrome so even though my Cell free DNA came back low risk, we still had some of those other markers so...still just wait and see lol.

The first one was huge and discovered at 8 weeks...didn't go away until 19 weeks. I bled so much from that first one that I had to be hospitalized twice for blood loss and to monitor the baby. They think there might be something wrong with my uterus (possibly from DS' long labor/birth process or damage to the uterine wall from an IUD I had after DS was born). So, even if this new SCH resolves, I might just get another one again. Bah. Cooperate body!

AFM, just chilling on the couch with DS. He's eating pretzels for breakfast and watching Netflix. I need to get some coffee started. It's a gorgeous day today, so we'll definitely be out for a a walk this morning. Hoping to make it to Zumba tonight, it's been a couple weeks and I miss it.

DD was very clingy this morning. She woke up early and quietly played in her crib until I was ready for work. Everything else was normal. But once we left her room she wanted to be held and wouldn't let go. Didn't help that I was already running late (and the nanny was running late). Our nanny was able to distract her so I could pack my lunch but sheesh, these types of mornings are hard!

Also, it is so weird to have an anterior placenta. I feel a lot of movement, flips and kicks. But it's like he's kicking my insides. Hard to explain.
