Taitai FX that baby stays inside!! Sorry for your loss thechickencoop. If it makes you feel any better, DS had a very dilated kidney in utero, and it was discovered that that kidney was actually not working at all. By the time he was born, it resolved itself and his kidney now works just fine! It did take the full pregnancy before it resolved though.

blackmamba Glad the customer service was good but oh no to the charge! Glad they could resolve it quickly for you! DD and I are up visiting my mom for awhile (H is teaching summer school for 3 weeks). She's the only grandkid on that side so they love having her up. My grandparents also live nearby and are in great health so we all spend a lot of time together. Today's plan is to shop a little for some summer maternity shorts and maybe some tops and maybe lunchbout before naps! Let us know if/where you find good shorts and stuff! Have fun with your mom. |

Today was an okay day for us. DS was in a great mood and had fun at swimming lessons, which is a win. I had a weekly checkup with my MFM where we received some not so great news though. I am still at very high risk of PPROM, because my amniotic sac membranes are thinning  . They also found a new medium sized SCH, which is frustrating, because the old one just went away last week. Ugh. We are taking it one week at a time and praying that my waters don't break before 24 weeks (I am 20 weeks on Friday). More bedrest, meds, and fluids for me. On the bright side, baby looks great and is healthy - growing right on track and very active. I just need to keep him inside and cooking! Sorry you're going through this. I'll be thinking of you- keep cookin' baby!!! |

I haven't been online in like a week, we've been swamped. Between work, being sick, dealing with insurance from H's accident last month, and now H's grandfather passed away this week I'm like...GGAGHSSHSHSBBBB. We're on our way to the funeral now 😕 But, it's really kind if a relief, he had been unwell for a looong time now. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll be thinking of you and your family. |

thechickencoop and Taitai You both have dealing with a lot stress during these pregnancies. Hoping you both get some self-care time soon and that babies continue to grow and get stronger!

I ate a brownie a few minutes ago (I'm PST so it's not even 10 yet)... that's what kind of day I'm having... tried to go to stretch class since my hip flexor is angry but DD basically whined the entire time so we left after 10 minutes

We decided to venture to the splash pad today, and DS had the best time! He was shivering after a while, so I wrapped him up in a towel while he ate his peanut butter sandwich, then we walked for a bit. He was so overtired by the time we got home he was trying to hit me, and put up a fight before I put him down for nap. He hasn't made a sound since I shut the door, so I'm guessing he crashed pretty hard. Now I'm just sitting here eating watermelon, it's delicious.
