Yup! I’ve been to DryBar many times and use lots of their stuff. What do you want to know, Goldi? I'm looking at their Buttercup dryer. Supposedly it's pretty lightweight and dries hair a good deal faster than most. What do you think? I haven’t tried their dryer but I lovvvvve the Dyson. It’s insanely fast.

tgrimes how was Peppa Live? We go Wednesday evening and have after party passes. My first backstage pass and it's to Peppa Pig, that's so sad. LOL

I got all excited about this Dyson hair dryer, until I realized it's WAY out of my budget.

I’m here, with a case of the Monday’s. Trying to get dinner started then hoping to pick up O and take him to get a haircut before we pick up Z. Tomorrow is his 4yr appointment. I hope it’s not a lot of shots. Any tips on what to do? Tell him? Distract him? I told him and we watched the Daniel Tiger where he gets shots. C is super curious and didn't flinch and watched the whole thing. He whined for a couple days after though. This is what we did too. He kept asking if there would be a shot and I honestly didn't know so I told him that I wasn't sure and the doctor would tell us when we got there. Then Pete promised him donuts if he did a good job cooperating.

Jack has a double ear infection. Matthews are still red but not necessarily infected. My mom would have been more helpful at home..

I told Cadence she was getting shots, but they would be quick. She said no, it will be super slow. She still gets them in her chub thighs so I held her arms and the nurse held her legs, which made her laugh, then the shots came and she cried. Said she was never going to the doctor again. She was fine once she got a sticker. The next day her leg was red and swollen, but just around the flu shot sight. That lasted a few days.

He watched the DT shot episode during dinner. I’ll let him know on the way to the dr or once he’s there that he’ll be getting shots. I didn’t want to worry him today. Hopefully he can imagine something that makes him happy like DT did.

I finally decided to decorate the tree that’s been up since Thursday. I was going to buy ribbon to make it look more full but I decided against it. Mostly because I’m lazy.

I’m going to call them in the morning but I know he does surgeries on Tuesdays. M has her 4yr check up tomorrow with the pedi so I’ll see if they can fit H in, too. I wonder if the ENT needs to suck it all out though. KWIM?

I know that the fluid can actually come out once the tubes are in and that's better because it relieves the pressure, but this just seems so excessive.

I'm still new to tubes, but I thought that would maybe be normal? Rather than fluid sitting in the ear and getting infected, it can drain out. Does he have a new cold? At least it's not clogged if stuff is coming out! Hope he feels ok.

He was when we started antibiotics 11 days ago but he hasn’t had a runny nose or cough since last Wednesday. When my MIL took him to the pedi,he didn’t have fluid coming out yet. She could see it through the tube. The next morning it started coming out and it continued for 4 days. Then it stopped. I was told anytime you see fluid coming out of the ear it means it’s infected. If that’s true, I’d assume the antibiotics didn’t get rid of it since our last dose was yesterday, right? What did the ENT say to you? Why does this have to be so complicated?

I considered adding ribbon this year, but Im terrible at it. I do love how it looks. My mom was a wiz at it-- I never really took the time to learn. I bet YouTube could give me some pointers.

tgrimes poor boy! This looks like what I remember from my own ears as a kid. Even after tubes I often had goo coming out of my ears, it just didn’t hurt anymore. Hope the pedi has some answers.

tgrimes fx it isn't infected. That is what E's ear looks like normally. Maybe not as much but color and consistency.
