ABC News is reporting that Trump and his staff found out about this from the news, like everyone else. Something about that makes me feel even better. Hope Sarah has fun at the briefing today..... if there is one. |

Can I brag a little about myself here? I've had a good 24 hours and wanted to share. 1) I got a new job and told my boss yesterday I'll be out of here in January. I feel so free. Plus, it's a big step up in my career, w/ my old boss's title, and a big pay bump. 2) I finished NaNoWriMo last night!! That is all. Back to nuclear war and tax reform horrors. This is so great!!! |

HPSCI voted to renew 702 this morning What does this mean? Section 702 of FISA allows the NSA and FBI to monitor the communications of foreigners outside the US. The Majority had a fit about unmasking which is completely idiotic bc there is NO evidence of inappropriate unmasking under 702. And 702 doesn't apply to Americans anyway. |

It's a big friday! I think Rex will be out by 6pm. I have very mixed feelings about him leaving. He's a terrible SOS but he's made such a mess of the state department and I think new leadership will just make everything worse. Also worried that the new SOS will follow Trump's every beck and call in a way Tillerson didn't. Whoever is next scares me. No one reasonable is going to tie themselves to this administration at this point. |

omg please take kushner down. that is my christmas wish for today. I want Sessions to go down first. Hes such a tiny spineless person, I think he will cry from the rooftops when faced with a prison sentence. Sadly we need him to stay until we get to the point where it is impossible for 45 to shut it down. If Sessions goes down before that point, POTUS can appoint a new AG who doesn't have any obligation to not interfere with Mueller's investigation. |
