I want Sessions to go down first. Hes such a tiny spineless person, I think he will cry from the rooftops when faced with a prison sentence. Sadly we need him to stay until we get to the point where it is impossible for 45 to shut it down. If Sessions goes down before that point, POTUS can appoint a new AG who doesn't have any obligation to not interfere with Mueller's investigation. Logically I know this BUT I still want him to cry. I'll probably go to hell for wishing this on another person but the man has no soul. |

Omg if it's happening. I am trying to manage my expectations. I have so many feels and fears. I want him to be punished, to be impeached, for the Rs to HAVE to deal with his sins. In my dream world, Trump goes down and all the moral hypocrisy of the right burns with him, Pence goes down, Ryan goes down, etc. The GOP has to rebuild itself with new people on actual conservative values that have to do with something other than money-grabbing (and vagina-grabbing). But like, what if they won't impeach him, no matter the evidence? What if they do, and people are so relieved if/when Pence replaces him that he seems normal and a lot of their horrific agenda gets done and they see Pence as a great, reelectable leader for 2020, while "the Dems" are the people who took their strongman from office because "they always hated him anyway"? I have less faith in the people of this country and this government than I used to... |

Did we not learn our lesson? Especially a woman. Like... Kamala Harris, or Gillibrand, or Warren, or any number of other amazing folks. Our celebrity worship culture needs to die. If the Rock wants to be president, he can, at the very least, become a governor or a senator first and then apply again in 2024. |

Whoever is next scares me. No one reasonable is going to tie themselves to this administration at this point. I also have concerns that Mattis will leave with Tillerson. Which leaves a gaping hole in DOD as well. If the suicide pact is real we are seriously and royally fucked. I actually wouldn't be surprised if with the news this morning they'll try to do some damage control and keep Tillerson for a few more weeks. |
