H just said he'd take the big kid & pick up ice cream if I get the toddler to bed, and then he'd to bedtime with the big kid. 35 or so minutes and a brownie sundae will be in my belly. This is a good deal. Enjoy! |

I'm at the park with the kids. Just had a random 22yo ask me to keep an eye on her kids while she ran to her car. Kids are 18mt & 3mt (I know this because she told me all kinds of personal info). When I turned to see where she was, she was clear across the park area smoking, back turned to me & on her phone.
I could have been in the car & out of the park with her kids before she ever turned around. Scary

I just filled the tub for H to do bath time and I'm heading to the gym. We're going to visit my grandma and will be seeing family in a few weeks and they are super critical so that's motivating me to start up again. Even though 3 weeks won't really do anything and they'll still have something to say I'm sure.

I came into work early for a meeting and am stuck here late for a meeting. So I have decided we are having takeout for dinner. I need to decide Thai vs. Greek. Definitely Greek. We will be down there in Nov for BIL's wedding, so I'll need you to share your favorite Greek restaurant with me. |

I don't like maple bacon though. Or maple flavoured anything really. The exception being maple syrup, which must be pure and only used for pancakes/waffles/French toast.
