H just said he'd take the big kid & pick up ice cream if I get the toddler to bed, and then he'd to bedtime with the big kid. 35 or so minutes and a brownie sundae will be in my belly.

MH is just starting dinner. I fear my plans of going to bed early will not become reality. Oh well, more time for wine. At least you don't have to cook. Hopefully he's not a mess maker like my dh is. True. Luckily he is grilling so minimal mess. I'm just so hungry and tired. |

If it weren't for my kid I'd never leave the house. You should kick her bike over while staring into her eyes. Really freak her out. That's not weird right? No. That's totally rational. I maybe only 5 footish but I can get crazy eyed. |

At least you don't have to cook. Hopefully he's not a mess maker like my dh is. True. Luckily he is grilling so minimal mess. I'm just so hungry and tired. Hungry and tired is a no fun combo. Hope what he's making is yummy enough to make it worth waiting for. |

Is this a planner designed for said purpose or did you just buy a generic planner to use for meal planning? I'm curious. I need to organize my life. I meal plan along the bottom of my planner.

I thought of that but I'm also using it for my weight loss so I figure having it separate may work better for me at first. I do need to go to the planner thread too |

I stuffed myself with Chinese food for lunch so don't feel like dinner. I did bring home some chocolate cake and will have that and a bottle of wine.
My kid was too close to my wine glass and I said "Watch Mommy's wine" She said "Ah! I want wine!"
Yeah too bad kid. Here's a chocolate egg, go crazy 😋

I had a terrible day at work. When I got home, my kid lost his shit because he wanted to nurse, which we don't do until bedtime, for reasons. It was so bad that I decided it would be best if I left the house. I drove down the street and am sitting in my car. According to MH, he is still inconsolable.
I would put him to bed now, but he is getting tubes in the morning so he needs to eat before he's not allowed to anymore.
Sorry for the vent. Parenting is fucking hard.

I miss my breastfeeding boobs. A lot. The leftovers are just so sad.. I look like a chunky 12 year old boy. LT for solidarity. I was looking at pictures the other day from when I was pregnant or BFing and those suckers were impressive. Nowadays, not so much. |

I have budgeted for 10 oz of wine once the kids are in bed. Which leads me to the following: 1. I'm sad I'm at the point that I'm counting calories and budgeting for wine. 2. I take back any judgment I ever had for anyone who used a bottle to measure wine. 3. I will be drinking by myself because all you birches will be sleeping. I'm West Coast. I'll be here. |

We just cleaned so many leftovers out of the fridge for dinner. It feels so good. And now I think I'm going to have a shower beer. I'm making a fridge clean out meal tonight too. Fried rice and beet salad! |

DS has been officially accepted to Kindergarten at the private school he's been going to preschool at. Feels like a huge weight has been lifted.
I have 3/4 of the kids with me at jiu jitsu right now then I'm going to home to start dinner and wait for my nephew to get picked up.

Time for a quick Nordstrom run? Good pair of jeans, couple of tops, couple of cardigans? I came up empty on Monday. I have some free time tomorrow. May try one more Hail Mary. I am especially upset with myself because there is a black tie thing I am skipping because getting a ball gown at last minute was a bridge too far for me. I just knew I would spiral into oblivion if I even attempted that. Can you repurpose any work stuff? Blazer with jeans and heels? Banana always has staples that work for me that can go casual work or the dressier side of casual. Good luck, I am in a similar boat but opposite. My day to day casual work stuff is great, but my meeting wear is limited. |
