Eeepp!! Another November baby!! Good luck! Whoops sorry all. I wasn't clear. I was sent home and told not yet, but probably soon. I have a follow-up today so we'll see if anything more is going on. Well there is still 10 days left in nov so it’s still possible. Sorry you aren’t in active labor yet.

I'll be stalking you today, kensie5226 ! I think our BMB was hit particularly hard by the change in site location. We had just barely come together as a group when it all went down - I'm sure there were new people or lurkers who decided it wasn't worth the move, since we hadn't really gelled yet. I thought the same thing. Not quite a tight group since we were still in the midst of the 1st tri uncertainty and we probably lost about half of the initial group, whereas nov was more established and Jan was just getting started.

Anyone order a breast pump yet? I have a Medela from last time that worked fine and is still around here somewhere but I have been reading about the Spectra. Since insurance will pay, I plan on ordering something. I will be home for 20 months so I won't need to pump that often but I want to try because my last kid resisted bottles and food and and had to go to feeding therapy. Want to try to make sure this kid is ok with bottles. I didn’t order one. I have one from dd and a friend gave me one that I used at work so I’m not sure I’m going to order another. Unless one breaks?? Is there a timeframe that is too late to get it covered? I think you still have time, just get a script at your next appointment. I have the prescription, I just have to order it. I had the Medela last time, which didn't do much for me, so I think I'm going to get the spectra this time.

Want to try to make sure this kid is ok with bottles. I also had a Medela last time and switched over to the spectra this time. I felt like even with different sets of flanges and breast shields the Medela never really fit properly. I ordered numerous sizes and types and felt like I was never getting all my milk. I heard great things with the Spectra (I got the 2) and it sounded like it was much gentler than the Medela. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. I have my Medela as a back up. Mine is also in a box since it will be a few weeks before I try it anyway. I'll be honest, I skipped the insurance and just bought it outright. I had a Medela through my insurance and it broke. I ended up purchasing another one out of pocket anyway. I didn't find the Spectra to be that expensive.

It is slow, and I am a contributing factor to that LOL. But rest assured, I lurk constantly!!
I do think the move to multiple places hurt it, but I will say, my other BMB moved to FB and I am more active there.
Everyone at work thinks I will be going into labor at any moment. I have never gone into labor on my own (induced both times 37w and 39w1d) so I don't even know how this would work.
Other than that, picked up H's grandma at the airport yesterday afternoon. Let the craziness begin!!

jenn83, yeah I've got a bunch of FB boards that I'm active on. Totally feel on the not going into labor on your own. Clearly I already got it wrong once.

jrun2013, kensie5226, I'm the opposite about the labor. My water broke on it's own so I am constantly waiting for it to happen this time around!

Just got back from the doctor, everything is good. About 1cm dilated but the doctor says that's normal and people can walk around for weeks with a few cm dilation (my SIL said she was at 3cm for a month...).

I’ll plug both in to check, but I feel bad getting a third just for the sake of getting another for free through insurance....

I had to start on my heparin last night, so first morning shot this am. Giving yourself a shot with your toddler around is not very easy! Nothing like looking over as she is stretching for the syringe that you just prepped and set on the counter! Jeez. I forgot how much more annoying it is to actually pretend to be a nurse and fill the syringes with this med rather than the preloaded lovenox. Plus I can already feel how much more out of breath and woozy I am on it.
On the plus side, my dr was ok with starting it a little later than 36 weeks exactly so I only get one refill of them, which is 30 viles. That means I’m 15 days out!!!!

I'm finally caught up. Busy last week for me. Huge client meeting at work yesterday meant I worked all Saturday preparing, and actual meeting was a full 9 hours yesterday. In-laws were in town so did Thanksgiving #1 with them Sunday. Husband buttermilk battered and deep fried turkey and it was delish.
NST this morning was good, fluid check was not. This happened with L too where I was borderline low for the last two weeks and we ended up inducing right at 39. I'll have another fluid check on Friday. But now I'm more worried I'll be going out sooner rather than later and I still have a ton of work to do. And L puked this AM so I'm not able to get to work yet - hopefully I can get some things done at nap time.
We are hosting Thanksgiving so I will have to get the house in order as well, and wash the extra dishes we just bought so we'd have enough place settings for everyone. Can't wait until my mom gets over after work so I can get things checked off the list.

Strong menstrual-like/back cramps today, and (TMI) lots of bowel movements over the course of the past few days.... anxiously awaiting tomorrow's appointment to see if anything productive is going on. This kid has been pushing so hard with its feet in one particular spot, it makes me want to scream. The lump it makes on my belly could be seen from space!

Girl. You offered to host multiple Thanksgivings, and people let you?? +1 I had the same thought. +2. H wanted to host and I was like "Fine, but it's going to be potluck", which is what is happening. He's making the turkey, I'm making the mashed potatoes in a crock pot (so easy!), and the stuffing is Stovetop. Everything else is coming from other people so I can put my feet up and watch the dog show. We've been together 8 years and splitting Thanksgiving/Christmas between our families every time (his are in FL, mine are in MA) - honestly we're just so relieved to not be travelling this year we could have Chinese food in our pajamas and be totally fine with it.

It was actually better than expected, because my aunt and uncle in law were going to join, but due to some medical complications (I've been told they're ok) couldn't travel internationally as planned. I asked my family to come to us so we wouldn't be alone. Everyone else is too far from my hospital and/or doesn't have an appropriately-sized space. They're all bringing food and I'm assuming will handle clean up, as in-laws did. And then we won't be alone on Thanksgiving, which would have made me sad.

I went to do a couple things then I sat down in my kids room to play and by the time I got settled I was out of breath. My kid then got settled on the floor and proceeded to breathe heavily. Hilarious kiddo.

Ugh, I got my gbs test back and it was positive. I guess I just assumed bc I was negative with my first, I'd be negative this go around too. My doc made it sound like no big deal, but google has scary stories.
We're unexpectedly on our own for Thanksgiving this year so no clue what we're gonna eat. I have stuff to make cranberry sauce and a pumpkin dessert since that's what I was planning on bringing, but we should probably supplement those with something else.
