What's your favorite Thanksgiving dish? OR what are you most excited about?
For me it is STUFFING hands down - except, it's technically dressing since I'm going to spatchcock (sp) my turkey again this year. And I haven't actually stuffed a bird in years...

My favorite dish is mashed potatoes (but only my mom’s). So much butter. Second place is her apple cream pie. She is cooking/baking life goals.

I can't wait for sweet potatoes (with melted butter, marshmellows, and brown sugar mixed in) and pumpkin pie. Yum!

I'm making sweet potatoes (with marshmallows, cinnamon, and brown sugar) and an apple spice cake to bring to DH's cousins house. I'm really looking forward to both...yum!

Stuffing but not if it’s the cornbread dressing kind.
Really, it’s the leftover sandwich. Thanksgiving is great, but the leftovers are the best part.

The mashed potatoes, I actually also really enjoy turkey. My aunt makes a broccoli rice and cheese casserole for holidays that I love (but I shouldn't because it's the most Midwest cream of crap worst for you ever BUT SO GOOD.) And then every dessert. And I get to do two in one day. I ain't even mad.

All of the food is my favorite🙌🏻 But really, mashed potatoes and gravy will take up a majority of my plate this year.

My MIL makes this and calls it yucky casserole. So delicious. I had forgotten about it but I bet she’ll be making it for our thanksgiving.

My favorite Thanksgiving is my aunts cream corn casserole, stuffing, and the pies.

My Midwest is showing because my favorites are green bean casserole (give me alllll the crunchy onion bits on top!) and my mom's corn casserole. Also a mountain of whipped cream with a bit of pumpkin pie.

My favorite is also green bean casserole. So good. I also enjoy scalloped potatoes because yum. This year, we're having a family gathering at my parent's house (SIL and FIL are coming, too), so I'm excited to see what SIL is making/bringing. She bakes so well.

Mashed potatoes.
My aunt makes this green bean casserole with Swiss cheese and corn flakes on top that's amazing.
I make a badass pumpkin cheesecake with hazelnut gingersnap crust. Yum.

I like it all, so it is hard to choose. My top three are probably stuffing, mashed potatoes, and homemade rolls. I started making Lion House rolls last year and omg...I could eat a dozen in one sitting! So good.

They are so yummy and really pretty easy to make. I always brush with a little extra butter. It makes them even better.

OMG yes everything. As a child I wanted sweet potatoes, graham cracker fluff, and pumpkin pie. and mashed potatoes probably. I'm regretting that I probably did not enjoy all those Monday eve Thankgiving suppers that our small Canadian church had. MIL is making turkey and stuffing both with saffron, BEST I am making baked caramel sweet potatoes and this green bean casserole except from scratch cream of soup. www.plainchicken.com/2017/06/cracked-out-green-bean-casserole.htmlI will also probably take my instant pot to make the mashed potatoes and will eat obscene amounts. If someone makes soft white rolls, yum, but idk what else we're having. I want old fashioned pumpkin pie but idk if that'son the menu either

I love pumpkin pie but we aren't having any this year because FIL is bringing carrot cake. Weirdo. #notmypeople
Otherwise I make sausage stuffing just like my mom did, and its my favorite part of Thanksgiving!

calendula I would protest and have a pumpkin pie anyway lol I'm trying to practice gratitude and just be grateful that its one less thing I have to make, since I'm doing literally everything else and hosting their asses overnight. See how well that's going? Lol.

Ummm picking a favorite is too hard. I love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin roll the most though. But at my moms house. At MILs house I don't like much of the food. 😂😂😂
This year I'm in charge of bringing a sweet potato dish to my moms house which I've never done before. But I did find a crockpot one that looks delicious so I will probably try that. I make H's grandmothers corn pudding every year since she stopped cooking a few years ago. This will be our first year without her so it will be extra special to have that dish there!
