Ummm picking a favorite is too hard. I love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin roll the most though. But at my moms house. At MILs house I don't like much of the food. 😂😂😂 And this is why I always host.....

Mashed potatoes and stuffing are probably my favorite, along with cheesecake for dessert. But, I also only like MY pumpkin pie. I've been making the same recipe for the last 3-4 years and it's so good. H requests it year round.

I am not a great cook by any stretch of the imagination, but at my ILs I’m always tempted to sneak by the stove and add an extra half stick of butter and some seasoning to everything.

MIL tries too hard to be healthy all the time, so Thanksgiving at her house usually looks like farro pilaf and green salad. Very delicious but not Thanksgiving. FIL and his wife eat mostly paleo, so they get all high and mighty about stuffing and mashed potatoes and normal people food. We've never actually done a holiday at their house because I'm too scared. Neither drink. Holidays at my parents are both tipsy and delicious, but if we do that too often we get an earful from the ILs. SO that is how I end up hosting most years. Carbs FOREVERRRR

Thanksgiving here already passed, but my favourite dish is the stuffing! I could eat heaps of it. My favourite leftovers are stuffing and mashed potatoes fried together, eaten with lots of cranberry sauce.

Well the sweet potatoes are peeled and sliced and I made my bechamel and mixed it up with green beans and all the goodies. So tomorrow I just have to put stuff in pans and bake it. Feels good 😊, but after I was done I watched a YouTube video on making "culinary school bechamel" and now I feel extremely basic.😔

Ok this is probably a UO but my favorite is the mashed turnip (rutabaga) my family makes. And this year I've been super extra into everything cranberry, especially the sauce I make.

I love mashed rutabagas! I hardly ever get to eat it though since only me and my mom like it, and my mom lives really far away.
