How are all of the recent babies doing?
How are the pregnancies going for those of you that are expecting? Who's due next?

We're doing alright. One month old now and little man has grown 2# and nearly 2 inches. He's started smiling a bit, and was sleeping decently up until the past couple of nights. I'm hoping it's a growth spurt and he'll be back to 4 hour stretches soon. My older kids were awful sleepers (30-60 minute stretches for the first 6 months), and I'm really hoping baby is better. Nursing is going well, and we've had success with him taking a bottle too!

Feb 7 for me! Feeling like shit today...I forgot my purse at home (hello Monday morning!) and it has all my reflux meds in it. A co-worker hooked me up with some Zantac but I really could use some Tums on top of that. I'll go scavenge in our teacher work area later to see if I can find some! Otherwise, things are going as expected. I'm 29 weeks this week so moving along. I am ready to get stuff ready for this baby, like the room and stuff.

I'm due Dec 15! Baby dropped last Friday so moving is suddenly difficult - all the pressure. But G looks good (with a slightly large head, just like his sister) and doc estimates he's about 6 lbs right now. I just need him to stay put at least 2 more weeks so I can wrap things up at work. And I still need to wash his clothes and install the carseat. Oh, and pack a hospital bag and book my sister a flight out here. Other than that, I think we're as ready as we can be.

Hi!!! I'm finally feel pretty good. I'm still tired, but that just could be from work and the toddler. I don't have too much time to post much because my assistant is still out on maternity leave. Once she is back on the 4th, I should have more time!!
I am just over 16 weeks and we already scheduled our anatomy scan for 12/21. I can't believe I'm that close to halfway through.

We’re doing okay- on the way to Jack’s appointment at the pediatrician. Fingers crossed that he’s gained weight, or at least not lost any more. Ideally we’d like for him to be within the 10% range of his birthweight. He’s 6 days today and Things are going well. Worm loves her little brother so much and the transition with her couldn’t be going more smoothly.

I'm due January 7 so 33 weeks now. Doing ok but the usual 3rd tri struggles. Constipation, short of breath easily annoyed at everyone and just over it. I have to admit all the early births on my j17 bmb Have me a bit anxious. I was super relieved to pass my 3, hour glucose test. I feel pretty massive now a days! Also found out Friday that we are switching insurance at work effective 12/1 so I hope that doesn't screw me over.

Hi There! I'm 22 weeks tomorrow and Due March 27. C was born at 41w3d but no going over this time due to my age, per the OB. I'm tired and more irritable than normal but the nausea is mostly gone.
Moms of 2+, how can I get better connected with this pregnancy? I'm more busy this time around and overall just so much more consumed by life that this pregnancy seems fake.

shellyr I felt like that too. I was just so sick all I could think about was misery. One thing I will say was that when she came. My first 2 weeks with her were way way way more connected than with DS. Mostly because I felt like I knew what to expect and what to do and I could relax into it more. So even if it doesn’t come while you’re pregnant try not to worry.

shellyr I felt very disconnected too. I remember crying the night before my c-section because I was worried I wasn't excited enough to meet her. I think the experience is just different the second time around. I was super busy and overwhelmed when I was pregnant with Abigail. My mom got sick. I was chasing two toddlers. If it's any comfort, I felt very disconnected throughout my whole pregnancy, but bonded with her so much faster after she was born. I love that little girl with all my heart. Like, it's amazing to me how much I love her.

I'm in the same boat shellyr. I don't even feel pregnant really. Mostly, I think about it when I want wine. I'm hoping it's normal. The first time mom thing is just so new and exciting and now, I'm older and way more tired chasing around my toddler.

Hi. 28 weeks here. Waiting until after the holidays until we get "baby stuff" done (I want to get kiddo moved from the nursery to his own room, and we need to get the newborn stuff out of the attic and sorted, pick a name, etc.). Kiddo still doesn't understand he will have a baby sister soon. Still pretty nauseous, exhausted and in pain every day.

shellyr- I felt the same way. I had to kind of force myself to keep up on the N17 forum toward the end to try to connect with my pregnancy. Honestly, it wasn’t until I was laying on the table literally a minute or 2 before he was born that it was real and I just started crying. H said he was worried because I shut down when he was taken to the NICU. I think part of it was because I had finally felt connected and in less than 10 minutes he was taken away.

I'm 14 weeks today, hello second tri! I'm waiting on the NIIPT results to come in, hopefully that will be next week. Everything looked good at my NT scan. It's hard to believe I already have my anatomy scan scheduled for 1/22. I'm feeling better, still pretty tired, but I think getting ready for the holiday is a part of that. Thankfully the nausea is gone, so I'm hoping my weight gain will slow since I'm not constantly eating.

I was 20 weeks yesterday! I'm terrible about updating in the other BMB. Oops.
I am feeling good. We have our anatomy scan on Thursday. I do feel like Ian eating too much junk but it's hard because I feel like I am starving every two hours.

Jack will be 5 weeks on Tuesday. Everything seems to have gone downhill for us... Jack isn’t gaining weight like he should be. I have an appointment for him Monday morning. He eats plenty, but it just comes up, I’ve tried adjusting my diet and all the tips for him (keeping him upright, small frequent feedings, loose diaper, etc), he’s just miserable. As for me, I’m a wreck. My anxiety isn’t terrible (but we also stay indoors most of the time because of the smoke). I’m really short on patience though, it’s been really bad the past few days. Maybe that’s because we’re stuck indoors, I don’t know. I have an appointment Monday, I’ll be almost 5 weeks pp, I plan to ask for medication- I can’t afford to feel worse than I did last week. I’m really glad it’s the weekend and H is home to help.

Pizzaslut I'm also terrible about the other board. But I figure if I'm going to update this is going to be the first place I do.

Glad the nausea is gone armpants! I will be 37 weeks tomorrow and am doing fine. I'm definitely huge and my belly is pretty tight. I have 2 more weeks of work so I hope to go a bit past that so I can have a few days to chill by myself and treat myself to a spa day. Some crampiness and pelvic pressure and the usual constipation and getting tired/short of breath easily. All that is to be expected by this point.

Hi!
32 weeks tomorrow. Still really nauseous most of the time, and now really tired (I literally napped for 3 hours yesterday). Still have so much to get done before baby gets here. I'm just trying to get through the holidays first, and then we'll buckle down one weekend and get everything done (its not a lot, just....feels like that). I have a midwife appointment next Tuesday, and I guess I'll find out if they are going to have me do weekly NSTs again, and when I can go on sick leave for work.

mrspiatt, I hope things get better for you soon, and that the meds will help. And the smoke clears! I'm 10 weeks, my next u/s is Jan. 2 so i'm pretty excited. Nauseous alllll daaaaay looooong every day and so bloated. The nausea is mainly due to the gas that is stuck in my upper abdomen and I look 7 months pregnant and I'm miserable. So yay. Haven't been eating well since I'm in survival mode, but hopefully that ends soon. I'm also really horny (TMI?) but upset because I'm too nauseous to do anything about it hahahaha. And hormonal. Dear god, the tears. My dog looked at me weird last night and I burst into hysterical sobs.
