Morning. Chase was up screaming bloody murder around 2:30 this morning, plus DH had a few coughing fits, so I'm pooped. I slept in and skipped my run, which I rarely do, but I'm still feeling a bit out of sorts. At least it's Friday.
I have a few calls to make but I think we're in decent shape for the party on Sunday!!

I did pajamas, a Christmas plate and cup, some little figurine decorations she could put on the mantle, stickers, and I think hot chocolate and winter shaped marshmallows. I think this year I'm going to add an advent calendar. Is it given December 1st or 24th? I can't remember.... I'm doing the 1st so that it can be stuff we enjoy for all of December.

Yes. She is a nightmare when it comes to movies. She has already decided that all of them have some scary sad twist to them. B is sensitive to movies as well, I’m sure no one is surprised, when we were at Lego Ninjago the other day he cried 3 times, he turns Minions off when the ‘so scary’ part comes on, and does the same with the Incredibles I think we’ll be staying with shorter shows for a while.Exact same. Colin is too sensitive for movies right now. Hell, he cried last night reading "Wherever you are, my love will find you" because it mentioned the kid being alone.

I think the sensitivity is such a sweet quality, but I do get frustrated by it, and have to remember that it's a good thing she cares that much.

M threw up twice in my MIL’s car. Thank god it was a rental...lol.
I put a call into the gastro. He’s not in yet but someone will call me back to see if he wants to see her today or take her to the ER.
I hate that I’m not there right now.

I'm off work today. The original game plan was to pickup the food for Sunday's party. But I'm so nauseous I really don't want to get out of bed. We shall see what actually happens.

Oh I had my appointment yesterday and they did the tests so I should know if it's a boy or girl next week. Baby X as we are referring to him/her was super active yesterday. Doctor told me to limit my jogging to no more then the 5k but probably by my next visit he might have me cut it some more. That made me a little bit nervous because last time he let me continue my normal activity.

I've always been told to resume normal activity as long as you feel ok doing it. I've always kept up with my typical running, weight lifting, ect.

Morning. Just got home from the clinic. H has an ear infection and pink eye. Ugh. We're leaving at noon for the cities and staying overnight. Then my parents have the kids the rest of the weekend. Hopefully the abx work quickly.
My RTR dresses came yesterday. The bigger of the 2 sizes I got barely fits. I'm just not going to be able to eat all night. When I ordered there was only 1 review, now there are a bunch and everyone says it runs small. Wish I would've known that!

No need to respond to this, I'm just getting all my thoughts out. I'm trying to figure out if there's another place to put our Christmas tree next week. We've been using our glass room (like an atrium) for so many years. It's really fun to come out and sit on the couch and see how pretty it is all lit up against the night sky, and it safeguarded the kids from pulling on ornaments or lights, even accidentally. The tree wasn't always at their disposal behind the glass. But now that Charlie is older, we've been using the room as a playroom, and I really like having a designated play space on the main level, and I'm not sure I'm willing to give it up even for a month.

Can someone remind me of what all is involved in the Mrs. Santa gift? I did it last year, but can't remember. Pjs, Christmas activities, and treats? I did pajamas, a Christmas plate and cup, some little figurine decorations she could put on the mantle, stickers, and I think hot chocolate and winter shaped marshmallows. I think this year I'm going to add an advent calendar. We totally stole this idea from you last year and did: Christmas movie (original Grinch), pajamas, an advent calendar, M & D wooden Christmas tree, and hot chocolate.

slenle I have had the same experience with RTR. I remember one dress was Nicole Miller, and I don't recall the other, but I think that "designer" gowns generally run smaller.

Morning!
Hope all the sickies are feeling better this morning.
C is napping and I'm finishing lunch before we head out to get B from school. Got an email last night that there are two cases of HFM in two separate classrooms. Yay. B had it two years ago, are they immune once they get it? I always hear mixed answers on that. Anywho, the parking lot was empty--I think a lot of parents kept their kids home--but I figure he's already been exposed so :shruggy guy:
I love the idea of Dec. 1/Mrs. Santa gifts--I ordered the kids coordinating jammies last week so maybe that can be the foundation. Whoever suggested the Christmas plate, etc., that is a good idea, too.

Should we do a Christmas shopping thread? Like not just for kid gifts, gifts for everyone. Gifts you're excited to get, people you have no clue what to get, unique and amazing gifts you've gotten in the past, ect?

Good news is, at least in our case, it seems like it's not quite as bad each subsequent time. Dude has had it a couple times where we had no idea and went to the doctor for other things and she told us he had it. We asked how he was feeling and he said fine.

Yes, the idea I originally found was one from Mrs. Claus, but I can't remember if i did it that way or not last year I guess if you do elf on the shelf, he or she could bring the present. Im still on the fence about the elf. I might just stick to the idea: "Here's something to get you started and excited about the Christmas season!"
