We used Dr. browns bottles. They came with special brushes for the straw. I can't complain because mh washed them. I do highly recommend the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher. You could make a whole batch of bottles at once instead of individually.
Headbands, I made my own, so I'm not sure about brands.

I feel like I need to make another thread because it's as if I'm starting all over. Best headbands? L refuses to keep headbands or bows in As a result she's kinda a hot mess cause she has a lot of hair. Get yourself the little plastic elastics. They hold baby hair the best. www.amazon.com/Goody-Classics-Polybands-Elastic-Multi/dp/B005HT3P1A walmart and target sell them.

I'm exhausted. I napped for 2 hours and still feel awful. I feel like i have a fever. Achy, tired, cold, hot, sweaty and judging by the 12 people asking me why I'm pale, I'm pale. But I dont have one. I'm afraid of how I'll feel in the morning. And My in-laws won't leave. Of course. I hope you wake up feeling better in the morning.

We do have these which seem to work ok at keeping it out of her face! If it makes you feel any better the pulling out of hairbands/clips is a phase. If you are persistent with putting them on they eventually learn to leave them alone. H asks to wear clips and headbands now.

You have to keep it in the fridge, right? So then you have to warm every bottle? That seems more time consuming then just using warm water and mixing up a bottle!

flamingo Yes, we're having a girl and she's already making me go broke. Persephone (NN Poppy) is what we settled on. I totally get that name is not everyone's style, but we love it. So do Atticus, my mom, and sisters. I'm sure my dad will be appalled.

Already done. When Jack was a baby I took him to bed to nurse in our room. My mil came in and sat at the end of the bed and talked to me. In the dark..

cagoldi glad you didn't go with Dr. Brown - the new flex ones are a pain to get clean (get black mildew easily somehow) and always leak. Our older ones didn't have that problem.

Fun night here. N is being sleep trained and j and I are watching toy story 2 and hoping his laxative kicks in. I can't send him to school in good conscience without trying something.. He may go wearing a pull-up tomorrow.
Pictures went quickly and I'm nervous n didn't smile. It wasn't too cold, so they were all out on the water.
And j and I had a "fun" target trip. He opened the door on me while I was using the bathroom 😡. But then got party supplies, and pjs are 30% off in store, so got 6 pairs and matching Burt's bees xmas ones. He also found his #1 Xmas birthday request...drumroll...the American doll knockoff ice cream truck🤷. At least n would probably enjoy it in a few years.

Mine would take cold, but would spit up more so we always did room temp or slightly warm.

That seems more time consuming then just using warm water and mixing up a bottle! We've never had to warm bottles. My kids drink them cold or room temp. I’m super jealous of this.... S would only take her bottle warmed. Not even room temp would suffice. It was a pain!!! We started taking a thermos of hot water with us everywhere because when she was ready for a bottle there wouldn’t always be a way to warm it if we were out and about. So I would have the powder pouches, dump it in bottle then add warm water from thermos. It worked well but was still annoying. And I don’t recommend this method when traveling in/out if the country. When we came back from Mexico and S was right at 1 year old and was transitioning from formula to milk. But the formula was her comfort so I did that while traveling. Did you know if you have a thermos of liquid when you go through customs, you get special treatment? Lol. I got some extra patting, they had to test the water and throw it out, and get hey had to test my hands for residue....in case it wasn’t water. Whoops! No more going through customs with any food or beverage for me!

We premade formula too, but I just used a Rubbermaid pitcher with a mixer thing instead of the Dr Brown's. It was awesome, and made prepping for DC easier. At home she had cold formula, but at DC they warmed it. Luckily she wasn't too picky.
