Atticus goes back and forth between eating nothing then consuming nonstop.
He's gotten somewhat picky and it drives me nuts but the pedi waved it off and said that's 100% normal at this age.
He complains of growing pains quite a bit so I assume a growth spurt is imminent.

flamingo, I used your suggestion for luggage for a Christmas gift idea for my in-laws. Conversation went like this: Me: Both kids can also use overnight bags MIL: ok, lunch bags. Will get them. Me: they already have lunch bags, I mean like a duffle bag. MIL: ok, a tote bag Me: like small luggage. Something they could take for a trip or overnight at your house MIL: ok, a big tote bag. To bring their books. Me: .... I'll send you a picture... This is hilarious.

O has more sores in his mouth. They look like canker sores to me. I don’t get why this is happening to him. Maybe the stress of real school? Exhaustion now that he doesn’t nap? Who knows. I just hope they are gone for his bday.

Nothing like being at a hockey game 75 minutes from home without one of the most important pieces of equipment. We are now the proud owners of hockey pants in the wrong size and wrong color. I don't even want to know what we paid for them.

$90 later we are done at Walmart. I have no idea what I bought that cost so much, but I did get some Christmas gifts.....for Cadence. She gets all my money. She was so absorbed in looking at toys she didn't notice I was getting her stuff.

I’m surprising her for her 40th birthday. OKC isn’t quite the same as someplace tropical though.

I need to get basically everything for the baby since I got rid of all my stuff.
The bottles we liked have been discontinued.
Any recommendations?
I've heard good things about Dr. Brown's and since my kids are gassy/colicky/reflux messes I'm inclined to go with those.

T tried every kind but hated them all. I tried Dr Browns and I know people who swear by them but you have to clean this straw like thing and I'm lazy.

OMG taking both boys to that party was exhausting. Fortunately they both passed out on the drive home so they went straight to their beds once we got home, but I had to finish putting groceries away because apparently DH doesn't know where anything goes. Then finish their laundry, start mine, get lunches started... And I need to swap Colin's clothes out for the next size up. He was fine a week ago but I noticed his pants looking just shy of too short this morning. Fortunately he already has a full wardrobe just waiting for him. But this means I need to start stocking up on the next size after that!

MH took the kids to Target for diapers and ended up running errands for 3.5 hours. It was amazing.

They were easy to clean.

cagoldi I used the playtex with B and liked them, but assembling them might get old if you’re exclusively Bottle-feeding (can’t recall if you plan to BF or not). I had to try several with C before she would accept (begrudgingly) the TommeeTippee bottles, I assume because it’s a more natural shape and girlfriend only wanted to nurse. So :shruggy Guy: I might just buy a couple different styles to have on hand to try, then buy more of what works best.

Thanks, everyone.
We used Playtex with Dude and X but they discontinued that particular kind. Now they only have this "natural latch" nipple which I couldn't care less about since I'm not going to BF.
I feel like every last one tries to mimic a mom's nipple (for obvious reasons), but if you are just bottlefeeding that is not a concern.
I settled on MAM. We'll see how it goes. $500 later I have lots of stuff and nowhere to put it.

I had a super productive day. C and I did a Target run earlier after I realized I have no underwear that fit. Somehow that ended up in $130 at checkout. But I got some frames for pictures I've been meaning to frame and C got some stuff too so it's all good.
Then my parents came over at 2 when C should have been napping. The plan was for my mom to do the lights on my Christmas tree while my dad and DH wallboard the storage area in our basement. We needed to get the tree out to make space to work so that is why we put it up early. It turned into me and my dad wallboarding, Dh watching C who refused nap, and my mom ended up decorating my whole tree. It looks beautiful and or storage space is clean and aside from putting up shelves, pretty organized.
Now we are waiting for grocery delivery and Thai takeout.

I feel like I need to make another thread because it's as if I'm starting all over. Best headbands? Wait. Did I miss that you found out you’re having a girl?!?! I participated in your name thread but was thinking you were still in the hypothetical phase. And I love Little Poppy Bows. They offer a monthly subscription service through their website but I typically order thru their Etsy site. They have both the handbands and alligator clips, and literally every style, material and color you can think of.

I'm exhausted. I napped for 2 hours and still feel awful. I feel like i have a fever. Achy, tired, cold, hot, sweaty and judging by the 12 people asking me why I'm pale, I'm pale. But I dont have one. I'm afraid of how I'll feel in the morning. And My in-laws won't leave. Of course.

I feel like I need to make another thread because it's as if I'm starting all over. Best headbands? Just search etsy. Get the ones with the nylon elastic because they stretch to fit any size and don't cut in. This is a good example.
