Today I am thankful for the dry weather. I went for a walk and already feel more motivated for the day ahead.

Today I'm thankful to live so close to my dad. We visit about once a week now, and we'll hopefully (as long as everything works out) be moving next door to him in the next 60-90 days.

Today I am thankful for my husband - he got up early to have a cup of coffee ready for me when I got out of the shower. It was a nice gesture and a good way to start my day.

I'm thankful for the people around me that support me. I am also thankful to God, my provider. I have been in the lowest of lows and buried by life's stresses, and every time I've hit the bottom I have somehow pulled through.
I have been given signs, and scripture seemingly out of nowhere. The other day I was having the worst time with work and things were falling apart and I started to say to myself. "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it." I spoke with my co worker the next day about the hard day I was having, she too had been having a tough time with a challenging student, and I handed her a card with that scripture. She told me that while she was on her lunch break she thought about not coming back to work and just quitting. She turned on the radio and listened to a story of a girl who's mother was having a bad day and the girl turned to her mom and told her, "there's no need to be sad, this is the day the Lord has made, we should be glad."
Both of us struggling the same day at the same time were given the same scripture that pulled us out of our funk. It's things like this that keep me going day to day when nothing ever seems to go right in my life.
I know not everyone believes, but maybe this will reach someone who does.

I am thankful for my parents. They do so much for us and are always willing to help us when we need it. I am very happy I made the choice to stay in my hometown to be close to them.

Superficially I'm really thankful for coffee this morning.
On a more deep level, I'm really thankful that even in the summer when she doesn't have to get up to put my niece on the bus, my mom still gets up early so that I have somewhere for my children to go while I work. Also she is taking my daughter to her swim practices this summer while I'm at work.

I'm thankful my daughter is healthy.
I'm thankful to have a job that allows me to SAH part of the year.
I'm thankful to be starting a new job in the fall that is much closer to our families.
And I'm especially thankful for puffs and Daniel Tiger since they are currently providing me a few minutes of peace to drink my coffee.

I'm thankful for friends that are like family. Good friends are hard to find and I feel lucky that our best friends are a couple that my H and I both love to spend time with.

I am thankful for MH. We have had a rough couple of days and he is staying strong but honest through the whole thing. He doesn't hide his feelings but doesn't let them crush him either. He has also been unbelievably helpful while I feel terrible during this pregnancy.
I am thankful for my stepmom who dropped what she was doing to rush to the dr with me yesterday so that I didn't have to wrangle G and be examined at the same. She also called to check on me later in the day. She is ALWAYS there when I need her more than anyone else.

I'm thankful for my health, even though I'm overweight. Dealing with my parents reminds me how lucky I am, especially today.

As much as my job stresses me out, I'm thankful that I have one and that it's the kind of job with built-in breaks (I work in a college). I'm also thankful that after tomorrow, I'm off for five weeks! Well, that and that we have enough wiggle room financially right now that I probably don't have to stress too much about money while I'm off.

I'm thankful for MH. He holds it down when I'm losing my mind. He tears down his body every day to bring home his paycheck and I love him for it. He's the better parent when I just cannot anymore. He is the love of my life, my best friend, and I wouldn't change our mediocre life for anything.

I'm thankful for my husband and my two healthy kids. I was having a bad day at work yesterday and DH sent me a pic of the kids and it made me feel so much better. They are just so cute and my husband really is a great guy.

I'm thankful for my husband and 6 healthy kids. As I clean the poop out of 1yo's little fingers right now and curse the poop on my rug, I can't imagine life without them. You have 6 kids? How do you survive? Also my morning sounds similar to yours. A nude child and a dirty nappy on the floor. |

I'm thankful that I got my almost 3 year old potty trained! I am also thankful that since I spent all my energy on that, work, and cleaning out some closets, my H gave me time for a nice bath/facemask time yesterday and told me to nap during Zach's nap today since he'll be home in time to get up with him.

I'm thankful for my job and the way my own brain is wired so that I'll always keep pushing and trying to succeed professionally. Loving what I do really makes it easy to get out of bed and get to work every day.

I'm thankful for recent changes to my job that allow for more flexibility. I was able to change my start/end time and it has made a world of difference.
Also thankful to have a great support system, specifically my parents who are always happy to help us at the drop of a hat.
I needed this today.

I'm thankful for my ILs and my mom. They are always there for us and help with DD. It gives MH and I time to ourselves and to be a couple.
