1. EDD/How far are you now? 14+2
2. Symptom check: nausea, pregnancy brain, RLP, sore hips if I don't sleep with a pillow between my legs, sporadic movement.
3. What and when is your next appointment? This Wednesday with the OB.
4. Anything you’d like to share? I saw the MFM last Wednesday and all looked great, so I'm hoping to get my RCS date on Wednesday to have an official countdown going. I also made my AS appointment last week for 12/6.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? We do breakfast for dinner a lot: eggs of some sort, roasted potatoes and a breakfast meat, so that would probably be my go to for lazy dinners. Otherwise, I don't really make the same things week to week.

4. Anything you’d like to share? I'm saying I've felt movement.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? Chicken sausage, rice, broccoli, and cheese in a skillet. It's a 10 minute meal that's delicious and so easy.

1. EDD/How far are you now? EDD is 5/18/17. Currently 12wks, 3days. At my NT Scan today she said I'm measuring 3 days ahead but they won't officially change the date until you've measured more than 3 days ahead at 2 scans. Normally I wouldn't think anything of it, but that would put my EDD at 5/15/17 which is my mom and uncle's shared birthday already (13 years a part). It would be kind of hilarious if we added a 3rd person to their birthday! 2. Symptom check: Tired, RLP, headaches still and I had some off and on nausea all weekend. Also I've been having random days where my anxiety is really bad. Which is annoying as hell. 3. What and when is your next appointment? I had my NT scan today and all looked good! Results came back negative for Down Syndrome (1 in 1,200 risk) and Trisomy 18 (1 in 41,000 risk). I was so worried about it last week and it was such a relief to see the baby moving and hear the heartbeat today. Right at the beginning of the scan baby stretched its arms above its head and stretched its legs out at the same time. It was adorable. My next OB appointment is on November 14. 4. Anything you’d like to share? Just the stuff about my NT scan above. 5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? My H does most of the cooking because he enjoys it. But if it's my turn I usually turn to pasta with grilled chicken. Or chicken tacos. We usually have the ingredients for both of those on hand at all times. ETA: We also scheduled my anatomy scan today. December 20th! I'm excited that we'll get to find out if baby is a boy or girl before Christmas.

1. EDD/How far are you now? May 4, 14w 3d
2. Symptom check: Nausea persists. RLP, heartburn, headaches and dizziness also.
3. What and when is your next appointment? Monthly checkup on 11/22, I'll schedule my A/S then!
4. Anything you’d like to share? I decided that I do want to find out what we're having after all, so looking forward to knowing in about 5 weeks!
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? I always keep ground turkey in the fridge, so usually tacos or chili.

Nuchal scan in 3 hours! First scan DH has been able to attend. Excited for him to see her. 4. Anything you’d like to share? Already said it in fandoms, but can’t wait to tell everyone our news after today’s scan. Hurray! 5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? I must be off today cause picturing food is making me feel so sick! Usually I’m starving 24/7, pregnant or not. Soft shell tacos, or salad wraps are great. Pancakes at any time of the day if it’s just for me...

1. EDD/How far are you now? June 23/7+2
2. Symptom check: Nausea, exhaustion, sore boobs, 0 sex drive (sorry H!)
3. What and when is your next appointment? November 27th with the high risk doctor
4. Anything you’d like to share? I got confirmation today that they won't do an ultrasound until after my first appointment, which is at 12 weeks. With my history of loss, I really don't feel like I can go that long without knowing everything is okay, so I'll probably go over to the ER on Thursday or maybe early next week and make up something about sharp pain and blood and get them to check for me.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? Coconut chicken curry. I've made it so often I can practically do it with my eyes closed =) Or pancakes. Pancakes are good too.

sammichcat, no prob bob! I've been contemplating a doppler but I think it's still a little too early to hear anything yet. Also, my dog has been the complete opposite. He's basically not left my side for the past 2 weeks. I'm not sure if he knows or just knows I'm not feeling well.

Speedy, do you have an elective ultrasound place near you? I completely understand wanting to be reassured, but the ER is not the place for it.

1.. EDD/How far are you now? May 3, 14w5d
2. Symptom check: Round ligament pain when I sneeze. Still pretty exhausted. Nausea seems to be gone, yay! Higher libido than normal. Lower back pain that hurts like a bitch.
3. What and when is your next appointment? Nov 20, 16 week appointment so nothing special. I will get a blood draw to check for neural tube defect possibilities. My seizure meds put me at higher risk so I need to know if I need to move my MFM appointment earlier than the already scheduled anatomy scan for 19 weeks.
4. Anything you’d like to share? Anyone else taking baby aspirin? My OB put me on it to lower my risk of preeclampsia reoccurring this pregnancy. It seems so weird to take something notoriously NOT recommended during pregnancy.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? My husband cooks. If I have to cook, it’s spaghetti with meat sauce.

1. EDD/How far are you now? June 25/7w1d
2. Symptom check: So tired, SI joint pain, sporadic mild nausea, some food aversions
3. What and when is your next appointment? 11/20 (first OB appointment + 9 week u/s)
4. Anything you’d like to share? Got blood drawn to see if anything is up regarding my weird hand/foot itching.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? I'm not sure I really have a go to. When I'm feeling lazy I'll usually make butter chicken and rice.

1. EDD/How far are you now? 06/10/18 so 9+2
2. Symptom check: exhaustion and some nausea at night
3. What and when is your next appointment? 11 week appt on 11/20 and NT scan 11/29
4. Anything you’d like to share? I know it's still really early, but the other week I swear I felt something like movement on my right side. (exactly how the kicks with DD felt)
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? DH does most of the cooking since he's home first. Tacos, burgers, pasta are our go-tos lately.

Speedy, do you have an elective ultrasound place near you? I completely understand wanting to be reassured, but the ER is not the place for it. Just to build on this, it's an incredible waste of resources. I understand you are feeling anxious but it's really inappropriate and would take away from those experiencing actual emergencies. ETA cramping is a normal early pregnancy symptom and does not constitute an emergency unless severe or accompanied by bleeding. I urge you reconsider and perhaps try to reach out to your OB again.

3. What and when is your next appointment? Next week Thursday. I can't wait!
4. Anything you’d like to share? Being pregnant with a toddler at home is no joke. I am so tired.
5. QOTW: What is your go-to meal that you prepare for dinner? Honey Garlic Chicken in my cast iron skillet with jasmine rice and broccoli. It's so good, DD loves it, and only takes about 20 minutes. I make it a few times a month. I can't wait to like food again!

Okay, I appreciate the advice but you have no clue how Canadian ERs are run. There are so many people without family doctors that they have 2 teams - one to deal with real emergencies and one to deal with the non emergencies. I will call my family doctor and ask what he suggests but I'm fairly certain that he'll just tell me to go to the ER. That's the way it is around here.

I am really glad I am not the only baffled with the idea that someone would fake bleeding to get an early ultrasound 😲 ER are for Emergencies, please either reach to your OB to get a scan or buy a doppler/pay for a private ultrasound.
