I’ll tell you guys a secret. I don’t usually share names but one I’m loving for our inevitable 3rd girl is Margot.

That’s one of my coworker’s names. She’s in her 50s and immigrated here from Ukraine in her 20s.

cagoldi did you tell A yet that you are pregnant? Yes, and he handled it really well. He sings to my tummy and has asked to kiss the baby a couple times. He's never mean to X, just mostly...indifferent? I hope he comes around once they can play together more because it really makes me sad. That's one more reason I have come to love Persephone; Atticus keeps saying it since we have him a list of names and it grows on me more and more every time.

Re: nicknames, we have them but nothing official.
Poppy would definitely be an official NN because Persephone is long and probably hard for many people.
We gave the boys very common middle names in case they felt like their first are too colorful: Atticus James and Xander Lucas.
Not sure what we would use for Persephone yet but probably something that is similarly short and fairly common.

It’s funny how different names are everywhere. Not Olga and xander are quite common over here.

Fun fact: I had a guinea pig named Olga.
I still love guinea pigs, I do not love the name Olga.
Is it German? Or Scandinavian? It just has a very heavy sound, not feminine to me at all.
Similar to like, Helga and Gertrude or something.

I just IM'd Pete at work and told him, "Persephone is the name."
Pete: That's it? You just decided? Me: Yes Pete: Okay, then that's the name.

Sorry, tgrimes. What's your mom's nationality? I know these are kind of old-fashioned too so that might not mean anything.

Ada belle is such a pretty name! Persephone belle? That's what I am leaning towards. If Atticus had been a girl, his name most likely would have been Ava Belle.

I think it does really nicely with the boys' names, too. I've mention that Charlie would have been Poppy had he been a girl, but the full name would've been Penelope Isabelle.
