Congrats, bethkate! Happy birthday, little one!! charliefox I'm sorry about the worry with the cramps and spotting. FWIW, I was spotting until somewhere around 12w and then had a huge gush and I'm still going. *hugs* I hope it's just implantation/irritation and nothing worth worrying about. <3 How far are you now? 19,3 Symptom check: Mostly just that negative moods are heightened right now. Not sure if pregnancy symptom or stress symptom. What and when is your next appointment? November 17th with the OB Anything you’d like to share with the group? I'm still happy about the good A/S last week. I'm debating whether or not to reschedule one of my OB visits because it's not with my normal OB and I have had a poor experience with her. She makes my blood pressure raise because I dislike her so much, so I'm not looking forward to a HBP lecture. WWPAIFD? It's otherwise a normal OB visit (around 24w-ish), so I expect it to be quick and easy at least.

bethkate congrats!!!!! She’s beautiful!! charliefox I’m sorry you’re dealing with spotting. Fx I️t stops soon. Rama I’d reschedule if possible! AFM: 1. How far are you now? 6w1d 2. Symptom check: Exhaustion, waves of nausea, sore boobs. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Next appointment is 11/14 for an u/s. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? We had our first u/s today and The Little Embie That Could was measuring right on track, though a little hard to see because I️ have a ginormous ovarian cyst. We got to hear the heartbeat. Beautiful and 122bpm!!! TW (previous loss): my next u/s is the two year anniversary of our second loss so I’m having all the feels and nerves.

bethkate, she's perfect! Congrats! Rama, team reschedule here! charliefox, I hope the cramping and spotting lets up soon! It's so nerve-wracking! birch113, hugs to you! I apparently love exclamation marks today!!!!1111!!!! 1. How far are you now? 21+1 2. Symptom check: Headaches, headaches, headaches. Probably BP related. We've got that semi under control, but I still spike to over 140/90 daily, even with meds. I need this little guy to keep cooking a while longer, though, so hopefully pre-e holds off. 3. What and when is your next appointment? OB on 11/16 (just a check-in probably) and MFM on 11/30. Just saw the MFM last week for a follow-up a/s and baby looked perfect! **TW: Loss/TFMR mentioned** 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? This Saturday is the same timing in my pregnancy when we said goodbye to Ca.te (21+6), so I am just trying to hang on through that. This little one looks wonderful, and the MFM checks every time we go in for signs of any of the issues we had with her. He's seen nothing so far. It'll just be a huge relief to get through that "milestone"

1. How far are you now? 11 weeks today2. Symptom check: Nausea and heaving has slowed down thankfully. I had three days of no heaving and yesterday Little Test Tube decided that was enough. Still peeing a lot and sleeping issues3. What and when is your next appointment? I see the OBGYN on the 17th for our first appointment with her4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? We ordered the SneakPeek gender test kit and sent it in today. Supposed to be 99% accurate but honestly we are gonna take it with a grain of salt until a u/s confirms. I think its a girl and DH says he doesn't know. Anyone ever use SP before? bethkate, Congrats on your little beauty! I LOVE the picture! birch113, So exciting to see that heartbeat! charliefox, HUgs. I know its stressful.

bethkate, She is beautiful!! Congrats! Welcome to all the new faces!! Sorry I have been MIA. Life is crazy. Work is super super busy and trying to train people to take over my job while I am out is very stressful and I didn't realize how much I actually did. I have been in my position for over 10 years and a lot of my job was just learning as I went, so to train 10 years of experience is pretty difficult. Also the house remodel has been more intense and taken way longer than expected so my home life is also crazy. I can't wait for things to start to slow down (just to be crazy after the babies come). 1. I am 22w 3d 2. I feel great. Some RLP and some sciatic issues. I started with a chiropractor last week though so hoping that helps. 3. Next appointment is Wednesday. Just with my OB. I think I need to set up another anatomy scan soon? I will find out more Wednesday though. 4. Just that I am really enjoying being pregnant. I am so glad I feel good and we are all healthy and their haven't been any issues. I was very very nervous when I found out it was twins because of all the added risk. I am just soaking in all this goodness while I can. I will feel even more relieved and happy when I hit viability in 2 weeks.

bethkate, congrats on your beautiful baby!! charliefox, sorry about all the worry with the cramps and spotting - I know it's hard not to worry about everything! Hope they let up soon Rama, one more for Team Reschedule - no need to deal with OB-induced stress! birch113, YAY! So glad your ultrasound looked good and there's a nice solid heartbeat!! Big hugs to you about the tough anniversary next week though. longhornwino, big hugs to you - you're in my thoughts! mela99, glad the nausea is slowing down Dogpaddle29, hope the chiropractor helps with the pain 1. How far are you now? 7 weeks 2. Symptom check: Still not much - boobs are tender but not in the horrifying pain of before, nausea is mild and very sporadic, need a daily nap, biggest complaint is that my SI joint on the right side is killing me 24/7. Also having terrible burning itching on my hands and feet 3. What and when is your next appointment? First OB appointment 11/20 - with another ultrasound! Had some blood work today as well to test for a liver issue that could be causing the burning itching on my palms and feet - fingers crossed I just am having so weird fluke itching 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Since my u/s last week I'm less panicky about not having MS - might as well enjoy it while it lasts, because I know it's still way early and it could hit me any time.

charliefox, Ugh, I'm having the same, intermittent spotting and it's messing with my head. I keep having visions that my u/s tmrw will show nothing in there anymore. Hopefully the spotting will stop asap for both of us! longhornwino, Much love to you guys this weekend. kensie5226, Sounds like you are ready! laurensc927, Woohoo for work ending! daisy818, Hope that weird itching goes away, has to be so annoying. bananas22, Welcome! mela99, That test kit must be similar to,the Materni21 test, testing your blood right? bethkate, Congrats, she's beautiful! 1. How far are you now? 7w5d 2. Symptom check: Intermittent spotting, total mindfuck! Otherwise just always tired, need daily naps. Nausea comes and goes but the ginger is really helping. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Tomorrow for an ultrasound. The spotting has really gotten me in a worried/paranoid zone. Just trying to stay calm...she's a tested embryo so everything should be ok in there. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? Just a question...I forget when we get released from the RE? I want to call my OB to get our 1st appt set up.

scrang, I saw the RE last Friday for an ultrasound (I was 6w4d) and he said at that point I could either start with the OB or come back to him for one more ultrasound at 9 weeks. My RE is an hour from work, and my OB is 10 minutes from work, so once I confirmed that my OB would be doing an ultrasound at my first appointment, I opted to move on to the OB. She's seeing me at 9 weeks on the dot.

Question, if anyone has any answers:
My sister has been experiencing a lot of really painful cramps during her period since she was young. Debilitating enough that she sometimes cannot eat or get out of bed because she'll vomit. We've been concerned that she might have endo, but I'm not sure if her doctors are doing any labs that might pick up some abnormality that would come across (typically just pregnancy and a1c and other non-hormonal tests). If anyone knows someone or has endo that had some labs indicating such, would you mind either PMing me or responding to this letting me know what to have her tell her doctor to look for? She's in an incredible amount of pain and it's disrupting her life and I want to give her some information to come at her extremely unhelpful doctors with.

Any OB/GYN worth their salt would take period pain seriously. Can she switch doctors? My SIL gets painful cysts regularly and wasn't taken seriously until switching docs. The new doc took her seriously, did lots of workups and ultrasounds, and eventually she went in for surgery to have some removed that wouldn't go away. They were on her ovaries and tubes. Pretty sure they found endo, too. My endo wasn't found until I went in for a lap to have my cyst removed (and a polyp AND fibroid, though they didn't know those were there until they went in).

She's been to several different doctors and they've all just brushed her off. None of them have really seemed to try all that hard to diagnose the actual problem. Admittedly, when endo came up one time, she expressed an aversion to surgery because of the risks and BCP because of it always messing up her textbook cycles. Just today, after going to urgent care last night and getting a referral to a specialist (urogyno), when they called to schedule her appointment, they said she *had* to take some sort of pelvic floor class before they'd take her on as a patient. WTAF?!

Rama, laparoscopic surgery is the only way to diagnose endometriosis, so if that’s the suspicion, surgery is the best route to take. I had painful periods, but I didn’t know I had it until I had surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. On ultrasounds prior to the surgery, my right ovary was hard to see, and it ended up being because of endo adhesions, but the u/s alone wouldn’t have diagnosed the endo.

Rama that’s weird! But like bethkate said, only surgery can truly diagnose endo. If she’s in that much pain, she really needs to consider it. She shouldn’t have to live like that. ETA: the pelvic floor thing is weird. Not the aversion to surgery.

Thanks bethkate & longhornwino! I know surgery is the only way to dx endo, but convincing her to go through with it is the task. Part of her hesitation, I'm sure, comes with the way her doctors treat her, which is to make her feel like she's stupid and exaggerating and all that jazz. Her worry is with the teeny tiny chance of it wrecking her fertility (the same reason she's terrified of IUDs), but if someone will let her do it, I'm going to highly recommend it to her, too.
