I finally just finished putting both kids to bed. I've been slowly moving everything (naps, meals, and bedtime) later and later so that hopefully we are adjusted for the end of daylight savings. I never hated the time change before I had kids, so different now! Someone said something today about an extra hour of sleep tonight, yeah okay. I am so dreading tomorrow morning. I'm heading to bed now actually.

C's schedule has always varied by about an hour so I don't know if daylight savings will hit us too hard. It's 730, I should be sleeping and I'm awake, but she's still asleep and only 1 wakeup last night 😍😍 thanks kid!

Thanks for the sippy cup rec. looking more for reccos on how to wean the bottle at nap time. Maybe try to switch bottle to sippy cup and then slowly move that cup of milk earlier before nap each day. This is what we did for DS for his bedtime bottle and will try the same for M when she turns 1. As far as getting rid of bottles, we went cold turkey on his birthday and he never had a bottle again. His milk intake was low at first but within a week or two he was within the range the dr suggested.

Both kids woke up at their normal 7am except today the clock said 6. Boo. Usually it only takes a couple days to get back on track and the hardest part will be keeping them up until bedtime tonight (and keeping them up until afternoon naptime was tough). Hope your babes all adjust quickly!

I slipped on the stairs and now I hurt. Luckily I wasn't carrying a kid. Clearly my new winter socks are very slippery on wood. Right now my neck is all tense and I know my butt is going to hurt tomorrow.
Dd is super grumpy today. Time change? Teeth? Sparkling personality? Is it bed time yet?

Ouch Lakes. I think slippery socks are one of the reasons I'm almost always barefoot. That and I don't like things on me feet. Except now that I'm older I hate sleeping with cold feet so I wear socks to bed and they come off while sleeping 🤷♀️ I you don't hurt too bad tomorrow. Can YH give you a massage? I don't have one of those fairy tale H masseuses, but I hear they exist. C was great today but went down for a nap or bed time at 630. I'm hoping it was bedtime and not a 3 hr nap because I'm exhausted.
