A is cranky. She screamed all through dinner and was up multiple times last night. I wake up at 4:15 on Fridays. A was up by 3:45. Nothing worse than your alarm going off after you've already been awake for 30 minutes on your early day. Woof. Hoping I can pencil in a mid-morning nap since I work from mhome today...

When your kid stops and says "Growl? Dada growl?" on your morning hike 😬🐻 I did not see a bear. I think he saw the black bench under that yellow tree and thought it was a bear from a distance. I was a tad jumpy the rest of the hike. Especially when he would randomly point and yell "there there!" at something exciting, like the giant rocks or a log.

Ugh sorry for the rough morning judyblume14carrots, I LOVE baby clapping! So much fun! meeggaannw, so exciting!! We are still a while from walking but C is working on pulling herself up on things like mommy, daddy, the table and.. the dog. Poor dog. Had follow up visit with pedi. His first Dx was roseola because her temp was down and a rash is starting, but he said normally 3 day fever followed by 3 day rash, and we are on day 3 now giving her a 2 day fever. After he was done talking about it and about the seizure I asked him to check her temp again because her head felt warm. It was up to 99.5, so he said not roseola, but some other virus bc of fever and rash. Possibly cold virus since she's sniffly 🤷♀️ I now have to watch her like a hawk any time she gets a fever, and give her Motrin if she ever approaches 101 since the seizure was around 102.4. Who am I kidding, I'll probably give it if she's over 100. I never want to see that seizure face ever again. If she has one again then we look into neurologist, but for now on first one just keep a close eye on her.

meeggaannw what do you mean you might have a walker in a couple days? I'm pretty sure you already have one! I know I'm a caboose but wow! That looks like a legit walk for this age!

It's just so different from dd. She walked at around one but got really confident standing before she took any steps. R just takes off without being at all steady on his feet. I'm not prepared.

Holy crap, meeggaannw! Look at him GO! DD1 didn't walk til around her 1st bday. A has recently pulled to standing a few times, but we seem to be months away from walking!

E has her 1 year appointment today. 48% for weight but she isn't even 1% for height lol. I hate when she gets shots. Also no more formula moving on to milk it's like getting a pay raise. Yay go go! meeggaannw

Oh my gosh meeggaannw! That boy is on the move! M definitely has a bit before she's walking. She's barely walking with push toys right now and I think DS had a couple months between pushing things and walking alone.

Who else has an "I do it" baby?
I made salmon for me and had some leftover meatballs from last night so gave them both to C for lunch. She would legit get mad when I tried to feed her, but put it on her tray and she'd happily disassemble and sort of eat a bit. If I tried again she would whine. I told my mom and she told me its payback.

I use the Munchkin 360 ones for milk and Camelbak for water. I started ds on a soft spout Nuk sippy cup but he chewed through it in a couple of days so I jumped right to the 360s and haven't looked back.

I finally just finished putting both kids to bed. I've been slowly moving everything (naps, meals, and bedtime) later and later so that hopefully we are adjusted for the end of daylight savings. I never hated the time change before I had kids, so different now! Someone said something today about an extra hour of sleep tonight, yeah okay.

Ds handled bedtime okay in the past but the early morning wake ups and naps were a disaster for a bit.
