::pops head up:: podcast? Which one? Please tell me it's done by someone reputable and not another podcast of Up and Vanished quality. I have only listened to two episodes of the podcast, and haven’t seen the show yet, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same guys who did the show doing the podcast. Either that, or they did some other type of documentary about her. I don’t know anything about their backgrounds, or how reputable they are. I am listening primarily for informational purposes; it’s easier for me to listen to the podcast in the car than it has been to track down the show on TV, so it’s helping me learn more about this case which I find very intriguing. it's not the same guys. She has the podcast guys on there was guests. Is this right brux?

Yes. The podcast guys were guests in the first episode of the tv show. But otherwise they're unrelated.

Behind, I just finished the first episode. I’m so sucked in. Off to Reddit.
I may just need to quit my job and research this case.

Thanks McBenny , I've been meaning to check it out, a coworker is obsessed and recommended it. But when I looked it said "Oxygen series" so I was confused (and then a new MFM episode popped up and I got distracted). I think the podcast is "True Crime Garage" or something. They cover other cases as well.

They are not the tru crime garage guys I think the true crime garage guys interviewed these guys. The point of the missing maura murray podcast was to draw interest to a documentary but I think tge podcast guys were only on the sidelines for the documentary. Hopefully that makes sense.

I started the podcast this morning. The one guy seems ok but the other guy who is lecturing everyone on assumptions and being an armchair detective makes me roll my eyes. Hey dude, you are the one with the podcast about it. Give me a break.
Regardless I'm all in. I dont get Oxygen but maybe I can track the show down on Kodi

I just remember them saying at beginning of the first show that they were doing a documentary or a show about the disappearance, and I wasn’t sure if it was the same or not.

I am slowly making my way through the podcast.
I think I am all in that she was the driver of the hit and run. I believe that caused enough emotional distress that she felt like she needed to run away.
There is such a huge question mark for me on why her dad came to town during such bad weather. Why he needed 4k in cash. Why he originally told investigators she was suicidal and has done a complete 180 on that.

Well, then I'm not exciting. She wrecked her car, and his car too. He came to visit her to buy her a new car and he says that's what the money was for.

I went to check out the podcast, but it's like 60 episodes and I'm intimidated by starting at the beginning. I guess I'll stick to the tv series at the moment and maybe when it's done I'll start the podcast...

But I found the show on Kodi and I’m settling in.

I don’t think it has anything to do with her disappearance but Bill’s friends response to the questions about the allegations against Bill for sexual harassment and cheating were the opposite of convincing.

I still have two episodes to go but I wonder if she didn’t get in with Butch because he thought she was drunk and would call the police on her. I think she got into a car with someone her age likely, that she didn’t think would call the police on her. But I find it hard to believe so far that this person happened to be a killer. I wonder if she had some internal injuries and ended up dying with this person who maybe dropped her off in the woods or at a hospital or something and she was listed as a Jane doe. I also think that she tried to wipe up wine in her car and shoved it in her tailpipe, thinking she could get away with the story that her dad told her to for car troubles.
I reserve the right to change my theory after I finish watching.

Or the person that picked her up dropped her off somewhere else at her urging and she died in the woods elsewhere.

Or I could be all in on the psychics theory too. Maybe I’m team serial killer now.

We watched the last episode last night but I fell asleep. I think she had some seriously bad luck. I also think she's absolutely dead.

Reddit has a rumor that someone confessed. No one seems to think it's real, but might be interesting to follow.

That reminds me auburn, I really liked the journalist. She’s way better than most podcasters these days (which makes sense I guess) and she was a really good interviewer.
