Am I the only one who every time I check in here I am so hopeful for a new baby thread and slightly disappointed when there isn't one? It seems like there was such a baby boom and now....nothing. Bring on the babies!!!! This is me too. I half expect to see one every time I come in.

My stomach and "cleavage" is so itchy today. I am 95% sure it is just dry skin and I am terrible at lotion. It is just annoying. Grrr.

Today is an emotional day for me. We had dd at 37 weeks and I was induced after a high risk pregnancy. So grateful to have made it this far with wayyyy less stress and doctors appointments. Big hugs. Congratulations on reaching this milestone❤

AnnPerkins, Tagging you for your itching expertise again. So, I waited to mention my itching on monday to the np. Not my regular doctor, he rotates unless you have any issues. I see him next Monday. Anyways, I mentioned my itching to her and she looked and said it doesn't look like you have a condition that causes the itching yet. Lotion up and call if it gets unbearable. Well it's pretty dang bad at night and I told her that and that I had already thought about calling before even that appointment. I'm just concerned about it causing other issues with baby I'm not aware of. Should I call back and ask to speak to my doctors nurse like usual? Sorry for the word vomit.

Thanks misskilljoy I called and they're having me come in at 11:15. Hopefully it's nothing, but better to be safe and get checked out, you're right Glad you are going in. Did you ever get the itching checked out? Isn't pain like that also associated with ICP?

Awe, shucks! Thanks guys! I'm about to take DD to school with my mom, I think DS and I will go to the library for story time a little later this morning, and then DH, DS, and I will be picking up DD a little before lunch. She has a scheduled early dismissal today, so it all really worked out for us to get some extra family of 4 time. We're going out to eat together and then home for a Halloween movie and ice cream. DH and I leave for the hospital around 4:30pm! Eeeeeekkkk!! My BP is good this appointment so I don't think it is likely I will be sent to the hospital again... FFWC I am a little bummed because I wouldn't have minded going at the same time as you, haha.

Good morning. I'm playing blocks with ds3 right now. He's giving all the blocks hugs before using them lol Yesterday I had an awful pain in my upper stomach all day and horrible nausea. Today the nausea seems to be gone but I still have slight pain in my upper right. It's subsided a lot since yesterday though. So I'm debating whether or not to call my OB or just wait it out til Friday since I'm feeling better. My OB always asks about pain in the upper uterus, I think that is where the placenta usually is? Probably worth a call even if it doesn't seem too bad.

It was so nice this morning. Now it’s gloomy and windy. DNW to be stuck inside with these hooligans again.

Good Morning ladies- I need it to cool down here. Like seriously if we have another day of 100°+ heat I’m going to die. I took cold showers, I drank a ton of water, hung out in the car with the A/C while DD2 napped, used ice packs... I still had a horrible headache all day and was nauseous and dizzy. There’s just no way to cool this place down. I woke up and still have this fracking headache (Tylenol is not helping). I am so sorry, that sounds absolutely miserable. I do think yesterday was supposed to be the worst day, at least here. FX.

Did you ever get the itching checked out? Isn't pain like that also associated with ICP? Oh yes, you're totally right! The reason for both is that this is where your liver is and both pre-e and ICP affect/are related to your liver.

My mom showed up an hour after she said she'd be here. 😐 thankfully ds1 continued to be cooperative if a bit rambunctious and agreed to read books while DS2 ate (again). He's eating again and I'm hoping to get that nap in. Sigh.

Always take the ibuprofen. I was just sitting here thinking "wow, I feel so much better and less sore, why?!"
Because I took my meds for the first time in 24+ hours. That's why. I then panicked that I didn't know WHEN I took them but I posted here about it, so I will know when I can take them again.

Good luck this evening AnnPerkins! Sounds like the perfect last day before baby. Glad everything is still looking normal for you thatgolfb. Glad you got your drugs sorted out misskilljoy! I honestly don't even know why tylenol or aspirin exist Also, please now start all of your posts with 'dear diary' hehehe. I did wake up one day thinking that I'd go into labour on the 25th, so we'll see. I just want to make it through a work dinner tonight (because it's at a really good restaurant and I like good free food!). I don't have much of a track record with seeing the future though, so probably not.

So she sent me to get bloodwork done. Checking everything. Gallbladder, liver, ICP, PreE. She said she'll call me later with the results so we will see. She said it sounds like gallbladder issues since I have no appetite. My blood pressure was great 112/60. Thank you librarylady for reminding me to mention the itching. I wouldn't have put 2 and 2 together. She checked my cervix while there and I'm 1cm. So at least all those contractions are doing something.

Good, glad you're getting checked out quinn! Things can happen quickly, so good to be on top of it, and if there's something she can do that'll make you feel better, then even better!

Just had my 36w appointment and I found out that I may have to deliver at a completely different hospital than I was expecting. A hospital that I do not want to deliver at because I used to work there and I know several of the nurses at the birth center (they are all perfectly nice, I just have a weird personal preference about that- I specifically chose my provider because she delivers at the hospital I prefer).
I also found out that the OB I have been seeing will likely not be there for me throughout my labor like I was told she would be.
I know that’s the norm for many OB practices but for these (and many other TLDR) reasons I’m feeling very pissed and like I’ve been lied to by the clinic. I am grateful that I can even try for a VBAC at all but I feel like I can’t trust anyone anymore and I’ll be doing this all on my own.

But I forget to take it (especially overnight), and then wonder why I feel so sore. I get so focused on feeding the girls that I forget about my medicine. Anyone else still have swollen feet? It's over 1 week post partum and they keep puffing up (more so than during pregnancy). Nurse said it was normal, but I'm annoyed by it.

I was significantly more swollen PP last yime tjen I ever got during pregnancy. It took a few weeks to completely go down.

Glad she's checking everything, quinn. I hope it's not your gallbladder. I had gallstones after I was pregnant with DD and it was awful. Apparently the hormones from pregnancy can make them develop or get worse. I ended up having surgery to have my gallbladder removed when DD was 8 months old.

I don't have any swelling this time but I did last time, for sure. My BP was a factor as it was still iffy PP last time around, but my doc said it was also just a normal PP experience. Ditto crazy night sweats to drop all the extra fluid.
