Hi friends. I am very behind. I caught a nasty chest cold and have been sleeping all week. Today is a bit better, but my lungs are still full of junk and I'm just not feeling it yet. Hopefully tomorrow I can get back into the swing of things. I'm sorry, girl. Feel better.

Day 43 + C25k week 6, day 2 done. This is the first day this week I got up early enough to do both. I’m tired.

I started week 5 last night...it was the official beginning of phase 2 and my arms definitely are WEAK. They do no like the 8 pound weights at all. I am kind of excited to be splitting up arms and legs now though. I am hoping this means there isn't quite so much repetition. I have a sinking feeling that since today is day 30 for me and all that it is fit test day. I weighed in this morning and am down a whopping .2 pounds from the last one, so that is a total of .8 lost over the course of the 30 days. I feel like things are moving around though...I look better (at least to me!) and I feel better. Between this and the elliptical workouts I am definitely working out more consistently than I ever have before and I am definitely eating healthier...I am just eating a lot. These workouts make me hungry!

I haven't worked out since Sunday, due to a combo GI bug and mental funk. The weather sucks (flurries today, snow later 😣) and I've been avoiding day 48. So I said fuck it and did days 50 and 51 today I may double up 48 and 52 tomorrow, not sure.
My food logging has been...sporadic. I've skipped a day or 2 entirely, and when I am logging it's around supper time which isn't really helping me stay on track. It's our 5th anniversary today, so I think I'll take today off from tracking and try to log before or at meals tomorrow.

Just did the full day 52 and half of the day 48. I did not do 4 sets of mountain climbers in one day because I do not hate myself. Hence why I just did half of 48.
I think I do like this cardio format because it just goes so fast but I hate some of the exercises in it so having it in twice upsets me.

I just did day 53 in jeans because I couldn't convince myself to change AND workout. I'm feeling and odd combination of lazy and motivated.

Day 53 done! For the first time ever, I used my heavier weights for the entirety of both tricep moves. 💪🏻

Day 54 done! I did 2 rounds of it at the gym. I subbed the step ups for donkey kicks (the suggested word was "balls" on my phone) b/c I couldn't find the low box at the gym.

Last night I did another lower body workout with super sets. And my numbers improved so that was cool to see! I'm just moving through the workouts on my challenge at my own pace and working out on days I fit it in. I really need to push myself to work out EVERY DAY.

So I just did 31 which was the first “new format” for cardio and well...nope! I do not like it!
I am starting to be sore in not so great ways. My back has been bothering me and my knee is acting up. I’m not really supposed to be doing a whole lot of squat/lunge action but I had been feeling fine up until now. I was planning to skip my rest day tomorrow and just go right on since I have had a lot of “extra” rest days but I think my body is telling me it really needs it. I might just do a quick elliptical workout if anything.

I'm doing upper and lower today, whichever days those are. I put leggings on this morning and looked in the mirror and thought "dammmmmn girl! Look at those muscles!" I'm so mad that I didn't take before measurements. Such a difference! Scale hasn't moved, but I've also not been watching what I eat.

"Rest" day today. It was DD2's bday party (she turned 2 last week!) so rest is in quotes b/c my Fitbit says I took 15k+ steps. I'm freaking exhausted!!

I took my rest day today because I woke up with debilitating CD1 cramps and by the afternoon when they were finally easing up, I picked a nap. Back at it tomorrow.
Oh and yesterday my arms were failing me when I had to blow dry my hair. 😬

My drive has really taken a hit. Eating over the weekend was not good, and I only exercised 1 day last week.
Today is a new day, though, and a new week. Day 52 done.
Plan for this week: Tues: 53 & 54 Wed: 55 Thurs: 57 & 58 Fri: 59 Sat: 60 Sun: 61
We're going to visit my SIL/BIL and new nephew Wed-Fri, which is a 5 hr car ride each way. Going to stock up on some healthy snacks for the car, and pack my weights.
