Ya I posted on our FB board for the HOA so ill see what people say... I think it's the HOA, but our development is only half sold, and H reminded me, even if it's the HOA the builder still owns the HOA until all the units are sold... THANK YOU! I had a lawsuit where that was my argument and the opposing attorney kept insisting that wasn't the case. (They were arguing the HOA gained control the minute the first unit was sold) I'm sure that's why they do it...

Gotta love when insurance covers one kid and not the other. Not. #twinproblems We just got a big bill for their 12 month shots. Hashtag was covered, Hashbrown was not. I've been dealing with fighting insurance since I was pregnant and was charged for an "extra fetus" at every scan and ultrasound. Then in the hospital, Hashbrown had to stay longer for jaundice so they kept Hashtag since he was a twin and they were monitoring his levels too. He didn't get covered so we got a big bill for three out of the six days. I foresee a lot of angry phone calls in the next 18 years. This still does not make sense to me.

Well I got it figured out. Turns out our pediatrician's practice only submitted Hashtag for insurance. Hashbrown's claim never got sent, which IS WHY IT WASNT COVERED. All because someone saw the same last name and dob, so they only submitted one child's claims.
Seriously. That's an $800 mistake. They're fixing it now and submitting hers to insurance. But come on people.

Oh, and they had her insurance starting 8/1/17, which you know, hasn't happened yet. It started 8/1/16.
Numbers matter, people.

When I was in college I did an internship for a major health insurance company, I worked on a team whose sole purpose was to analyze the number of errors in the Medicare submissions and how they got corrected/how long it took/how many man hours/how much it cost the company... So much human error. Also it was a terrible job. The number one error was swapping DOB and DOD. You cannot get paid if someone died before the submission date.
