My children have hidden one of our chargers and it's a total mystery as to where. You'd think since it was bright orange it would be easy to find, but we have searched the entire house to no avail.

I've got a meeting this morning, but otherwise not much going on today. Which is nice.

I'm at work and am pretty much the only one here. On my side of the cube farm, it is just me and the guy who clips his nails at his desk.

It was month end on Friday which means I have the credit card to tie out and invoices to go up on Thursday of this week...however, since we were closed yesterday it is an even shorter time frame to get it all done in. And I have to wait until corporate sends the credit card statement to me so FX I get it soon.

It was so hard to get out of bed this morning. We had a great long weekend, but I'm still exhausted from everything. Luckily I don't have too much to do at work today so hopefully it should be an easy day.

We have been using some okay sheets that we got as a wedding present (that weren't actually on our registry) for the past 8 years. I finally bought some sheets that I actually wanted, and it's like a whole new bed. Soooooo comfortable. Sooooo much harder to make myself get up in the morning...

Enraging my children by daring to go 2 feet from them.
Trying to figure out how we are EVER going to eat all these leftovers so everyone, please come over.

I'm a consultant to the accounting manager (since the LOs were born), my company was acquired in October. They want bank refs and GL recs done by a certain date but there's always such a lag in getting the internal JEs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So we spent the evening at urgent care after DS1 went face first into a concrete step. He ended up with two stitches. It was a blast <sarcasm font> Aside from that, we have a lovely weekend filled with milestones for DS1: took away paci, pooped on the potty three times, went out without pull up and didn't have accidents, and got his first set of stitches. Hooray!

My poor baby has a double ear infection. I'm glad we finally figured out what's wrong though and antibiotics will help.

Keep giving Tylenol or ibuprofen (if over six months) because it's painful. We stopped when his fever broke but he was being super cranky because he was in pain and couldn't tell us Also +1 me to the tired club

Forgive me for stupidity today but our FD is working on potty training but she sleeps through the night. We currently have the bed on the lowest setting but still have the side on the crib. She is 2.5 years old-when should we be taking that off? I'm afraid she may just roll out of bed, not sleep, etc. She shares the room with her brother who is 4 who is in a toddler bed. Please don't tell me it should have been a year ago...

cinnamon I second asking the kiddos. "Can you find the charger? Go get me the charger!" Or whatever you call it that they would know. It usually works with DS.

butlerfan if she is still in the crib and can't climb out, then it is up to you when to convert to the toddler bed. Climbing out is really the hard limit there. DS was sleeping so well that we didn't switch him out until he was climbing out repeatedly the same week. He was 2.5+

If we are to take it off I'm afraid if the kids would sleep or just play instead.

K did this with one of my shoes. It was such a pain in the ass to tear apart the whole house only to find it at the bottom of one of her toys bins.

heybulldog, and @ges072115,I hope your little ones feel better soon. AFM, starting the work week on a Tuesday, when you barely got any work done the week before, sucks. I have so much to get done in the next few days I have no idea where to start.

butlerfan, from my (limited) understanding of potty training, day training and night training are two separate beasts, so I think you're ok to train her during the day, but do diapers at night. My almost two year old will pee in the potty sporadically during the day, but we 100% are doing overnight diapers still. He's also still in the crib, and since he's actually sleeping right now, there's no way I'm messing with that until absolutely necessary.

butlerfan, if she's sleeping through the night, don't worry about it. We took the sides off for my son because he started waking at night to go to the bathroom, but even then it was more for us than him - it was hard to lift him in and out of the crib.

I'm about halfway through what I hope is my last double at work for a while. At least it should be an easy week because of finals--a lot of the students just take their exams and GTFO instead of sticking around to eat.
Is it Friday yet?

This is our first week without classes in since middle of January. One class was on Tuesday's and then when that one was done we had one that went on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. Last Tuesday was the last of those.
I can maybe actually do my housework in a timely matter and not feel so overwhelmed everywhere in my life.

Had R's 18 month appt today. Four shots to get him up to speed on the US schedule. We talked about his language, or lack thereof, especially because he seems to have stopped saying the handful of words he had. Pedi said sometimes that happens before a big linguistic jump, but in any case if he doesn't make progress in the next two to three months we should have him evaluated :/ Basically, nothing I can really do at this point is positively or negatively affecting it -- she says it will develop on its own timeline. I'm not sure if that makes me feel better or worse.
