I started season 1 of slow burn yesterday and I'm finding it fascinating. I've been very slowly getting into podcasts, this is only my third one.

I was just listening to slow burn season 2 on my drive today. The episode detailing the affair. Ugh the faces I was making. I was an ignorant high school kid in the 90's and only knew any of this as the butt of jokes. Gah.

I'm looking forward to getting into season 2 after I'm finished being amazed at the parallels between Watergate and the clusterfuck that is our current administration.

If you dont listen to Slow Burn (you should) but they have an episode for a new Slate podcast called Standoff about Ruby Ridge.
I'm 2/3 thru the first episode and its pretty good. I remember this so vividly because it was 'local' (as local as N Idaho can be to the state of Ada County).

I don't typically podcast, but if you like old Hollywood, You Must Remember This is essential listening.
She does a really fascinating series on the Manson "family" killings, one on the Blacklists, and she's done a lot of work to surface stories of what the women of old Hollywood had to deal with from male studio heads, actors, directors, etc., including a long, deliberate look at Howard Hughes.
She takes a really heartbreaking, but fascinating, look at Judy Garland too. I think that one is way back - like Episode 5.

Maybe I'm way late to the party, but Serial Season 3 is awesome.

I’m still listening to My Favorite murder from the beginning (mid 2016) and yesterday they were talking about when Hillary is president.... and it made me weep.

I like "Yo, is this racist?" where people send in questions and they talk about race issues. It's interesting but also generally funny.
