I can't believe some of the kids will be 4 this month!!!!
We are holding off until after C's party to buy his gifts (his party is 2.5 weeks before his birthday so it's not too close to my sister's due date). Our tentative plan is a remote control excavator and a game. This thread may give me better ideas though!

Yours may be turning 4. I'm not allowing mine to turn 4. Nope. Not gonna happen.
Just kidding. But really, I can't believe it's here already!

I promised S we could go to the toy store and he could pick out ideas of what he wanted. Then I will just pick off that list.
Right now, however, it's just basically anything Star Wars or Tranformers.
I am getting him new Star Wars bedding regardless of anything else. I haven't decided which one yet, but I might splurge and get the Pottery Barn Kids one. And a Star Wars Lamp for his room.

And the Flip racers are a big hit too

I'm done shopping for birthday's and Christmas for B and Julia, just need to split up the gifts.
This is B's stash:
-5 books that I ordered from my book thread. -I dislike fidget spinners and thought the rubix cube is a good alternative -Binoculars -Name puzzle -2 sets of clothes -new skip hop chameleon set-backpack, lunch kit and sippy -Money -Oilers shirt -Bath toy -The Incredibles movies -The Minions movies -Melissa and Doug jumbo building blocks -Tracing book of numbers and letters -bath bombs and body scrubber -lego city fire station set
We also bought a scooter but I think we'll hold off until Easter to give it to him, DNW him riding that in the house.

I was looking at him, too, vino. I might do the code-a-pillar. Josie likes the app. I would have to do the research to see which will have more staying power.

I ordered T 2 fingerling monkeys. They are robotic monkeys that fit on your finger. They are suppose to be the big toys of Christmas. I ordered them on Amazon 2 weeks ago and they are suppose to arrive between Oct 14 and Nov 4.

There are phases where he doesn't play with it but he plays with it for days on end I was actually just going to tell vino this is why we decided against getting either of them. It's something that J would play with for a little while, and then it would sit idle for a long time and then maybe she'd go back to it, but probably not. Toys that are concrete don't really serve her interests as much as I thought they would.

But he's being doing more causality things then before so he is learning.

I think legos and crafts are the only things that have been consistent since age 2. You're right, @chrissy, so many phases.

Seriously girls, I know when it comes to toys I'm a bit of a crunchy mom with all the wooden stuff, but if you want building stuff for kids, kapla is amazing. They can make anything with it, right now ds most often makes fences for all his animals with them. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s?k=kapla

Oh and a Scrooge McDuck bank. It's exactly like one I had. My mom gave my old bank away or threw it out. Don't know which.
