wilmaroo I'm so sorry, that just sucks. Thinking of you! orangehibiscus every time I've tested after my trigger it's pretty faint. Like even takes 5 minutes for the second line to pop up. How are you handling the TWW? wisco I don't know if I'm going to make it until 13DPO haha. I'm 8DPO today and work 3 12's this weekend but I'm sure I'll cave when I'm off Tuesday, if not sooner...How are you holding up?

Thanks ap21ril. TWW is going well so far, but it has only been a day or so. I think I might have O'd yesterday! Very true. Thanks 🍍 🍊 Fineapple 🍍 🍊! This is my first time with the trigger shot, so I am going a bit nuts making sure it worked like it was supposed to. How are you doing?

ap21ril - I'm at 10dpo and am no longer holding quite so strong...I totally want to go pick up a FRER on my lunch break...AH! I couldn't sleep last night and so I was obsessively looking through the stats/pee stick pictures on the Count Down to Pregnancy website...and a lot of people (a majority) who turned out to be pregnant were getting BFPs on 10dpo.

(And yes, even though I have to pee...I am definitely holding it so I can test. Officially boarded the crazy train.)

wisco I wholeheartedly support that decision. So many get their BFPs at 10DPO, why not you?? Oh my goodness I hear you on the pee holding. The feeling of having to pee always brings a visceral memory of the physical feeling of TTC - timing water drinking and peeing to maximize pee sticks. But frers are too fancy for me, lol! I'm stressing out a bit because I had several days of fertile CM and two days of aaaalmost positive OPKs CD14-16, then no thermal shift but CM dried up and OPKs became negative. It's CD20 with no sign of O and it's scary that this may be my first anovulatory cycle in 7+ years of charting?? I'm hoping the weirdness is just my body getting back to normal after taking out that cursed Nexplanon implant, but it's still bringing up all kinds of irrational anxiety, like what if I never O again....

Just popping in to try and distract our TWWers!
I had an eventful appointment this morning, meaning someone pulled a fire alarm as I was walking in the building. Oh well for sneaking in an appointment before work.
Of course I’m an idiot and forgot to ask numbers. But I had one ready to go and the nurse did my shot. I got back tomorrow afternoon for IUI. I’m supposed to go for acupuncture too, but work is so crazy, I’m not sure when I can make it there.

My acupuncture lady is so great. She is staying late tonight to squeeze me in the schedule! It’s a stressful week, so hopefully my 30 minutes of quiet helps reduce my stress! It’s the perfect storm of everything being scheduled for the same week and I have no time for all of it.

Hi everyone! I’ve been lurking for a couple months and thought I’d stop being a creep and introduce myself. I participated off and on at the last two places. I’m not super consistent with posting because I mostly use my phone and I’m a terrible phone typer. Anyway, I am starting my first medicated cycle this cycle. We had all of our testing done a couple months ago and then we bought a house and were waiting for things to settle a bit. The testing all came back normal except I had a very low AMH but I am just about 41 so I wasn’t shocked. This will be cycle #17. I am going in for a sono on Wednesday and then start femara after that. TW, LCs mentioned {Spoiler}DH and I have 3 children so I am probably a unique case on this board, but I can’t really find another place that fits! I have been cheering everyone on as a lurker and am looking forward to actually participating!

jacks wow I'm so glad you were able to get in acupuncture! What a difference that can make. I hope your week calms down a bit. It's not cool when the work place makes us feel all this pressure when we're just doing what we need to to build a family! obscureference welcome! I hope the rest of your testing goes smoothly. You are absolutely welcome to join the party here, but since you brought it up I wanted to suggest you might also like participating in the SAIF TFAS check-in.

obscureference Hi! Sorry you find yourself here, but welcome! Hopefully your sono goes well and you can get started. Acupuncture was relaxing tonight. I’m not very good at laying still for 45 minutes, but I did my best. She also added some extra needles on my hurt toe, so that’s a nice bonus. I’ve been meaning to get it looked at for about 2 years now....

Welcome obscureference! I POAS today at 12DPO and it was negative. I'm assuming I'm out, but beta is Thursday. Boo. I do get to go to Vegas in 2 weeks w/ 5 friends and we're going to see Celine Dion, so I guess yay for margaritas? (not really) On a side note from that- how awful would it be to take progesterone for 1-3 days after a negative beta to push my period out a bit? I already don't usually start for 3-5 days after I stop it, but am trying to make it so any potential CD 10 u/s or IUI isn't during Vegas. I'm sure it's not the greatest idea but hate to drop an entire cycle... wisco so did you take a FRER? Fingers crossed for you and orangehibiscus! sunshiney I just did that last cycle; it was unmedicated bc DH and I were traveling during O, and I had almost positive OPKs and EWCM on days 16 and 17 then nothing until day 23. Anecdotal, but still it's not too late for you!

Glad you got in for acupuncture jacks and that it was relaxing! Welcome obscureference! I hope your stay here is short. Good luck with your first treatment cycle! Thanks! Sorry for the BFN ap21ril! Have fun in Vegas! I would keep taking progesterone to delay your period so it doesn't impact your next treatment cycle, but that's just me. I would think your RE would be on board with that too so you aren't delayed a cycle. AFM... My trigger line was so faint this morning. I triggered a week ago tonight, so I'm sure it will be gone in the next day or two.

ap21ril I'm sorry for your BFN, it would be aweosme if you get surprise good news at beta though. Thank you for the encouragement, I have been toying with just giving up on Oing and letting DH abstain a few days for his repeat semen analysis, but you remind me that all is not lost...gotta keep fighting the good fight. Also, I am 100% behind taking a few extra days of progesterone to time AF better! IF treatment is hell and I believe we deserve to take advantage of any little convenience we can. A wasted month is no joke. orangehibiscus I am following your trigger like a hawk..thanks for the update lol! Once I had one last (tiniest headtilting squinter) until 13DPO, such a pain.

sunshiney Today's line was a tiny, head tilting squinter. I even put it in my HPT tweaking app (shameful, I know!) to see if it was there. I hope the trigger is gone soon. I kind of would like to stop testing for a few days.

ap21ril Sorry for the BFN. I’m jealous of your Vegas trip though! orangehibiscus Did your trigger finally disappear? I had my sono this morning and I’m good to start the femara tonight. They also rechecked my AMH because it didn’t make sense how low it was when everything else was fine. I’m guessing it will still be low because I’m old but we’ll see.

The trigger line is still there, but is incredibly faint obscureference. It is so faint, it doesn't show up in a picture. I'm 6DPO today, and now I'm hoping it will start to get darker in the next few days. I hope your AMH is better!

Hey kids! Sorry I haven't been around. Last week was tough emotionally (not related to the cycle, but more due to loss issues) and my BFN was not helpful... But today is CD 2, so I will be calling into the Nurse's line soon so they can call in this cycle's meds and schedule my monitoring ultrasound. We're ditching the femara this cycle to try clomid. We'll keep the dex and trigger shot... My RE is hoping that I can produce at lease two follicles. Trying not to feel defeated. I know this can talk time, but I'm kind of exhausted, you know? I'm sorry for the bfn ap21ril. Any changes for this cycle? orangehibiscus - when are you testing?!? obscureference - Welcome! Love your username. sunshiney - When is your H's SA? jacks - What's going on with you?

wisco So sorry. Sure it's easy for someone to look in from the outside and say it just takes time, but when you're in the middle of it there's no escaping every difficult day. I hope you get a perfect response on Clomid! Looks like I truly O'd 4 days ago as I've stayed just above the coverline (hard to trust these really crazy temps, I've had lots of insomnia this month) so we're planning for DH to get his 3rd SA when I have a day off on Veteran's Day or when I can drive myself to work again as my broken ankle heals, whichever comes first. I start work at 7:45am, he starts at 8am, and the lab doesn't open until 8, and he needs my "help" as he's never comfortable going solo! So it's a little tricky, but we're thankful we live within a 20 min drive of a lab, as I know lots of people have to commute pretty far to the lab and provide the sample there.

So sorry for the BFN and the feels around loss issues wisco. I have everything crossed for you! I hope your H's SA gives you clarity on his counts sunshiney! AFM... BFNs for the last 2 days. I'm 11DPO today, so it's still early. I will test again tomorrow. I'm leaving out of town on Thursday, and I want a definitive answer one way or the other before then. I know it isn't guaranteed, but with 3 follicles and awesome timing...it has to work. It just has to! Hopefully tomorrow will bring me good news.

Thanks sunshiney! TW Possible BFP I got a BFN on a Wondfo this morning at the time limit, but saw a very faint line just a few minutes after that. I also did a Walmart cheapie this morning and saw a very faint line at the 10 min mark (time limit), but it won't pick up in a picture. I'm not calling anything yet, but I will test again this afternoon and for sure tomorrow morning because I like to pee on everything! End TW
