This is me too. I usually get like 7-10 better-ish weeks right in the middle but I’m constantly on meds and constantly nauseated. I usually lose a bunch of weight at first, it’s all exhausting. With my last pregnancy the last time I vomited was as they were doing my section. I’m on my third as well. I manage to forget how awful it is every time. Squinty eye thing. Yeah, somewhere in the middle of second tri is most tolerable for a handful of weeks. But I'm mostly miserable until the end.

With DS I was sick/nauseated the whole pregnancy. This pregnancy isn't proving to be any different. I am nauseous/feel miserable at some point every day. I still vomit in the morning a few times a week, but thankfully the evening nausea/vomiting seems to be improving. I don't think the diclegesis does much for me. I feel the same with or without it.

I felt better with DD at 15 weeks. I'm so close to that and I'm still surprise puking.
If I had been sick the whole time with her there would be no #2. You guys are way stronger than I am.

Sending Hugs, Zofran, and Netflix on the couch to everyone still dealing with all the fun “early” pregnancy stuff. Y’all are basically super heroes. At least you can hold it over your kids’ heads?

I am sitting in the OB office. My appt was at 1:50 and the receptionist told me he is running 20 minutes behind. So we will see how long this takes.
I have so far gained no weight, my BP today was awesome and they are testing my pee. Why is peeing at the OB so dang hard? I have zero control over where it goes and I think they are lucky they even get a sample when I come in here. Lol.
I have been getting headaches and when I checked mY BP twice at work on Saturday (while my headache was awful) it was 140/90 and then 130/80 a few hours later. Also I had been up and running around before the first check and was more relaxed the second. I am trying to gauge when/if I should be concerned.

Those are both high-end normal BPs and the numbers can seriously change in a matter of minutes. It mostly depends on your mood/environment and naturally, your BP will be highest around midday. If it's consistently above 140/90, that's when I'd start to worry. These numbers are fine, though. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Nothing to get too worried about.

Thank you for the reassurance. My nursing brain is like obviously this is fine. But I am not an OB nurse and I don't want to be accidentally chill about something that really maybe I should have mentioned.

For reference, my OB didn't even bring up meds with me until my BP was 160+/100+ and didn't go below 140/90 on a second read. Even though I have White Coat Hypertension and anxiety about having my BP taken, even I had to cave and admit that controlling numbers that high was more important for me and baby than me trying to naturally reduce the numbers on my own.

OB was mostly unconcerned. But was like we could send you to a neurologist for headaches but they wouldn't give you anything. Lol, no. I am not that concerned about headaches in and of themselves, just them in conjunction with other pregnancy things. He was super nice and easy to talk to. So that was good.
He did walk in and immediately was like oh you're a redhead. Do you know that redheads usually bleed? And then went on to discuss bleeding out after delivery. Ummmm. Lol. So encouraging? And yet still I found him more endearing than the last OB I met, haha.

nuggetrn I'm sorry, but if they can put ergonomic handles on pregnancy test, I’m sure they could put one on a pee cup.

I feel hungover after the weekend. We had our big annual Halloween party last night and DS was in meltdown central. I for sure would have had zero food prepped if my mom hadn't been there. She also flew out last night, so I'm mopey today. We had a wonderful week and a half visit with her, and I'm thankful to have such a close relationship with her, but goodbyes are always hard. Especially on top of pregnancy hormones.
It was fun to see everyone's Halloween costumes last night. Everyone has babies now, and they all went the family costume route. One went all out with a Princess Bride theme - their 5m old was a R.O.U.S. They won the contest 😂

I can't believe there's a July/August 2018 BMB board already! Hard to believe too, that we're heading into November.

At least I'm in good company, although I'm sorry so many of us are still puking. On an unrelated note though, I asked DD if she wanted to go with me to my appointment next month and see the baby on an ultrasound. I compared the ultrasound to echolocation since we watched Finding Dory the other day, and she got excited about seeing the baby. Also, now she wants to go whale watching. That might be a little more difficult since we live pretty far from the ocean.

Our cul de sac does a big Halloween gathering but we’re only going for >30 minutes and not eating there. (We do a similar party a few streets over with my family.) I still want to bring something to our street’s party- would it be a total cop out to just draw pumpkin faces in clementines and ghost faces on some white cheese sticks? Or bring a box of Halloween sized bags of pirates booty? I feel like they’ll have a ton of candy/desserts and most people will bring a thing of chili or something to throw in the grill. I was trying to think of something kid friendly that’s not total junk *ETA: and not hard/time consuming to make*. Any ideas?

Our cul de sac did this for a few years, then we realized we really didn't like each other and all stopped going, bu fun ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) We are all cordial and stuff. I wish we still did it.

And with holidays and birthdays November and December always fly by for us. March will be here before we know it. It makes me excited and nervous all at the same time.

sorry so many of you are still feeling crummy - fx you all get some relief soon! i had to check the intro thread this morning to see who these new people are - but then i remembered it was halloween. you guys are making me think too hard! i have an ob appointment this morning and then i will probably hang out with my mom for the rest of the day. it's only supposed to be in the mid-30s today so i'm not sure about taking dd tot-ing tonight. we asked our neighbors how busy it gets and they were like not too busy - we usually go through 6 bags of candy. 🤔 that seems like a lot to me but we're coming from a pretty quiet neighborhood.

Happy Halloween everyone! DD is going to preschool today and I have an ob appointment this afternoon. We're going tot tonight with my bff and her family. It's going to be pretty cute... DD decided to be Elsa this year and her DD decided to be Anna. The funny part is that they didn't plan it.

I'm so excited about Halloween! I have my halloween shirt, necklace and earrings...I'm ready for it! I'm only working a half day today so I have time to get stuff done and hopefully relax before we go Trick or Treating. My daughter swears she's going to actually say trick or treat this year, we'll see. I wish it wasn't so cold out though ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) Our costumes won't really make much sense with jackets on.

I am so freaking tired. This entire day was a mistake.
Yesterday I agreed to work my second job because no big deal and I didn't work yesterday so I could go to bed at a reasonable hour.... Except for last night I totally forgot that I agreed to this and when DH went to bed I did not. And I continued to not go to bed until 4 am when I remembered what I agreed to do. So basically I got maybe 2.5 hours of sleep, was 15 minutes late to work and I will be working until 11 tonight. And I won't get home until 12
