We have 19 buildings from pre-k to high school. One elementary school was built about 10 years ago and has full AC. Most buildings are 75 years old or olde. I work in an addition to one middle school that was built in the 90's so there was really no excuse for my wing not to have air. Last winter I had no heat for 6 weeks. There has to be laws that state when it's not safe to be at school. Ours had 90 degrees and/or humidity % and they sent us home. We had the same thing. I don't know what the temperature threshold was but they released us early on very hot days.

So my sister isn't dilated at all, so that's good! They got to go home but she said they're running a test to see if they should be concerned about the contractions. I guess they also told her they wouldn't stop labor at this point which surprised me.
ETA: actually she was admitted. Hoping to hear more this morning.

Damn. That sucks. The town i work in is in a big levy battle over rebuilding the schools to add air. It's insane the people that are fighting it. We have 19 buildings from pre-k to high school. I work in an addition to one middle school that was built in the 90's so there was really no excuse for my wing not to have air. Last winter I had no heat for 6 weeks. I don't know how they expect kids and teachers to concentrate when they are dripping in sweat and it's 90+ in their classes. They've done a few early dismissals here but not nearly enough.

I would go crazy. A teacher friend of mine said one room in her school that gets a ton of sun was 97 degrees last week. YUCK.

It’s not a cookie, it’s a spread made with ground up cookies
