slenle what do you think of it? I won $1000 from my bank to buy workout equipment. IDK what to get. I have a tread mill and a exercise bike. Lucky! I want an elliptical. You should get a stair climber. I've always wanted an elliptical too. I'll google stair climber.

Morning. I fell asleep super early so I am very well rested, for the first time in a very long time. I bought this at target last week: It’s good but it doesn’t taste like a PSL. I’ll still drink it. Not sure what we will do today. H has preschool this afternoon.

I have until the end of October to decide so I think I'm going to go to a sporting goods store and try some things out and think about it. I would never buy a new machine for myself (paid 100 bucks for my treadmill and bike off letgo) so I want to get a good piece.

Morning! I've got today off but MH found a box trailer he thinks he needs so I am driving 4 hours one way this afternoon to look at it and probably buy it and bring home. But I have to pick S up from day care early and take her with me because my H has firearms qualifications that he is required to be at for work so he can't pick her up from day care. So basically please say a prayer for my sanity as I drive a total of 8 hours round trip with a toddler in tow. Thank god for the DVD player! I feel like S is an expert road tripper with how much you guys drive to appts and such. She kinda is...but our trips are usually no longer than 4 hours and then she gets to run around and be wild. Hopefully she will sleep the last few hours because we probably won't get home till 10pm.

Talked to Cadence about her ear touching her friend B yesterday. I reminded her that she needed to be asking permission to touch someone. She said, "He said I don't need to ask permission. He WANTS me to do it." Ask him anyway. He also had his head in her lap at one point and she was rubbing his back. .... Literal LOL. I love her. I think I'm going to need to put bars on her windows and lock her in her room when she starts dating!

Thanks for checking in, guys.
He seemed better last night and this morning, so I sent him in a pull-up and with a note. He said his tummy feels fine so I've got my fingers crossed it's over.
He will be thrilled that his lunch today is basically all carbs lol.

Morning.
Both kids woke up on the wrong side of the bed but they were happy by the time they were headed off to school.
I'm not feeling cooking lately because everything sounds gross so tonight we're going to the mall food court, I'll let Dude pick what he wants for dinner, then we'll go to the play place.
Last night I got ambitious and made soup and biscuits but I couldn't keep them down.

peachsmama, congrats on the win! I like stair climbers and also love various weight machines/free weights, but I have no clue what you could get at that price point. lfig, that drive sounds like a nightmare. Your H owes you big time. klong11, lol! Lordy. Madison was basically describing to me that she was doing footsy with another kid on the bus the other day. I also think she'll have to be locked up.

guster, Maddie is a leftie but I've never found lefthanded scissors at basic dept stores and been too lazy to search them out. She's done just fine and passed "scissoring skills" in preschool. Yes, I know how that sounds. Also, don't really care if my kid knows how to cut stuff up. She did a great job at cutting her own hair with non-handed scissors. I need one of these:

Yesterday was a Cass and mom day and she randomly said to me "sometimes boys marry boys and sometimes girls marry girls...and I want to marry you!" It was so cute. I love how more kids from this generation are learning to be accepting of others right from the start instead of acting like being gay is a taboo. Then when I was tucking her in last night she was worried today might be a "terrible day," I assured her it will probably be a "great day" but she didn't like the sound of that and decided it will be a "rainbow day!" Go have your rainbow day kid.

@flamngo wineallthetime mwhip please send your children's verbalizations my way. I'm tired of whining and her taking my hand to lead me to what she wants. Give me words child!! You have all my sorrys. That's how L is and it's frustrating for all involved!

Peach, that's awesome. I think I'd get various weights, kettlebells, bosu ball, slam balls, battle ropes, TRX, boxes, ect to build a home gym since you already have cardio machines. That way you won't get bored!

peachsmama I'm still surprised they didn't peck each other's eyes out. It's super hard to place roosters when they are rescued from fighting rings. Poor babies. We had a huge bust here awhile ago and activists had to organize carpools to drive them all over the country to various sanctuaries because each one usually can't keep more than a few. Too hard to keep them separate.

I'm going to be doing something pretty much every weekend starting this weekend through the end of Oct. I'm starting to get stressed. I think I need to print out a calendar page, so I can get everything written out. October is going to fly by and then it will be Nov. and I'm not prepared for Cadence's birthday.

inthekitty, I ordered a pair from Amazon. Josie has a really light grip, and I know that scissoring helps to strengthen that.

guster funny you should mention the left-handed scissors; I was just thinking about those this morning. B was cutting some paper this morning and I tried to arrange his scissors on his R hand but he wanted them on the L and said they were more comfortable that way. He does things with both hands to an extent but I do think he's going to be a lefty long-term.

Hi. The trampoline park was...not open. Despite their website saying 10-9, they open at 3 on Tuesdays. So we called an audible and went to a nearby inflatables/bounce house place, where my friend proceeded to buy a week long pass...and then her child refused to go on any of the structures. :sad trombone: I think we were both surprised b/c she is normally a very...ahem, spirited? little girl. I felt bad bc the whole thing was my idea, and B was having a ball while my friend just sat there trying (unsuccessfully) to coax her kid into doing something.

guster, thanks. I need to think of Amazon more often for stuff like that. They have everything after all. Mostly unrelated rant other than pertaining to scissors, but I'm annoyed that scissors have been on the girls' school supplies lists every year. They go in a communal bin and they don't get them back at the end of the year. Scissors should last multiple years. I remember trying to be the first to dig through the scissor bin in elementary because most were so dull they wouldn't cut well. But that shouldn't happen after 1 year of part-time preschool.

I'm in the museum. Nursing the little one while the big one watches some movie about skeletons. Feeling pretty accomplished.
