Day 24 done + C25k week 5, day 2. Both felt really good. I'm going to try to keep up on vacation but might take Sunday as my rest day if I'm a wounded person. You're killing it lately. I'm super impressed.

I'm starting to make excuses for why I don't need to do BBM tonight. I'm a day behind so I need to do days 23 & 24. I'm posting it here so I'll feel pressure to post later that I freaking did it. I'll be back.

There are a lot of people who are at different levels, so feel free to jump in! This group is more about keeping all of us accountable (and bitching about the brutal moves each week).
I tend to double up at least one day a week because I am honest with myself and KNOW I won't get one in over the weekend (I am weird and need to be completely alone to feel comfortable doing these videos, which never happens over the weekend). Generally, I try to do a strength workout first and then go straight into a cardio. I will do the warm up of the second day (if I have time) and use that as my "rest" between workouts and that lets me recover enough to really push myself during the cardio set.
I wouldn't recommend doubling up until you have a chance to gauge how you handle the workouts—some of them can be really tough, but I have seen a ton of improvement in myself in just the four weeks we have been doing it.

Welcome @stcyct! I have doubled up a couple times, but I do the opposite of trippyalien. I much prefer the strength workouts, so I do the cardio first so I can give it my all and get to the good part, the strength routine. I would very likely say fuck it to the cardio and either phone it in or not do it all, but I push myself hard on strength. You do what works for you to get the most out of your workouts!

I ran 3.3 miles earlier and I'll be doing day 24 of BBM tonight. I was very unmotivated the last 4 days as I got over a cold.
Now that I feel better, I'm definitely back on track.

Is it OK if I jump in? Please feel free to say no...I am very late and if it's annoying then I certainly don't want to derail the train or be annoying. I am slated to do day 3 today. A lot of you talk about doubling up...is that an OK thing to do? If you do double up do you do them back to back or have rest time in-between? Should I maybe wait until week 2 to start doubling up so I don't kill myself? @juliagulia can you link the Jessica Smith abs you do? My current fitness level is not great. I run occasionally...maybe once a week. I have been not following any particular diet per-se but am focusing on high protein, complex carbs, low dairy, lots of vegetables right now. My body needs serious help. I lost a ton of weight from breastfeeding and was about 10 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight but in the past year and a half or so have gained it all back plus about 10 pounds. It's...not pretty. Stay and play! One thing I like is that her workouts are easily adaptable for different fitness levels. I was in the worst shape of my life, no joke, when I started this. I’m already seeing improvement. But you could easily make the moves more challenging if that’s where you’re at.

@stcyct welcome! I've doubled up a few days but I try to avoid it at all possible. I feel like I try harder when I just do one work out a day. When I do double up I skip the first cool down and the second warm up.

Day 23 is done! I also did level 1 of 30 day shred. I decided to switch up the trainer instead of doing two BBMs (it's a lot of Briana when you double up lol!)

Holy sweet Jesus I can barely keep my body upright. I did day three and a Jessica smith ab workout and I’m toast. I was going to try to fit a run in tomorrow but I am not sure my legs will hold me up. Andplusalso my bum hurt all day from day 2. Guess this all means something is happening? Thanks for letting me play! I shall not be doubling up on crap anytime in the near future.

I'm 2 days behind. I didn't get home until midnight last night and I was just too tired and too sore from sitting on a plane to do anything today. I did walk all over creation on Tuesday in godawful Chicago heat, so that was my exercise. MH commented today that he can tell I have lost weight. Back at it tomorrow!

I'm still at work and have not eaten or drank enough water today. I know I'm going to walk into bath/bed/bullshit when I get home and my resolve to do even one (when I had planned on a double) is going to be severely tested. I'm going to try and eat and rally, but if I don't, I definitely HAVE to double up tomorrow.
OH, I forgot, SO took Sunday off to pick up his mom from the airport, so I can make up today when I have two willing babysitters.

Day 24 done. I did it without shoes on which was a mistake when it came to the lunges. I felt like my ankle was going to snap. Now I'm on the exercise bike, will do at least 30 minutes. (ETA: I did 45 min)

Day 24 done along with Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred level 1. Saturday is my gym day (free daycare!) so I'll be running/jogging on the treadmill and calling that day 25.

I got up to work out this morning to do day 26 + a run....but it was pouring rain. I wasn't going to waste the extra time when I had already dragged myself out of bed at 5 AM, so I pushed hard and did day 26 and 27 to finish up week 4 before the weekend. It was hard, but I am feeling pleasantly sore and satisfied with the workout.

I am wearing the sneakers and jeans today thankfully. We don't really have a dress code but jeans/sneakers are more accepted on Fridays. Everything hurts. A lot. Am thinking maybe a run after work and then day 4 tonight...I am not sure if that will work out but the weather is so great I really want to get that run in. I will be studying my cards re: form to make sure that I am not injuring myself. So far my back is not feeling great.
The Jessica Smith abs video I chose was not the best ab workout for me...she had my putting my feet together while doing crunches which didn't work well since I damaged my back about 10 years ago and I don't have that kind of range of motion in my hip. Will probably have to modify.
I have a wedding overnight tomorrow (yay!) so I might miss a day this weekend, but if I plan it all right I should be OK!
