Had my appointment today! Measuring 37 weeks (I'll be 38 on Saturday), baby is low and head down, heart rate and bp are good! We are past 37 weeks now so for sure can birth at the birth centre! Also, got my GBS swab results and this time it was NEGATIVE! Wahoo for no IV like I had with DD! My midwife had me take probiotics and I guess it helped?!

duskymonkey woohoo for making it to cerclage removal!! I hope that baby stays put a little longer! And OMG to your accident!!! Glad you and baby are ok! Rama, I haven't read the whole thread but have they done an internal check to see why you're bleeding? I was spotting all through 1st tri, come to find out I had a polyp on my cervix that was causing it. OB said they usually resolved themselves or they can be removed after labor or something. No clue if it's still ther e or not but the bleeding eventually stopped. chitownsully fuck that doctor. Bedside manner is so important, I'm so sorry he sucked. mkrupar I hope the new meds help! Great updates Taitai!!

I am pregnant check-in
How far along are you? 37+6
Any concerns? How are you feeling? No major concerns. Feeling super pregnant, but pretty good.
What kind of appointment? OB
How did it go? The usual. Got to see my doctor (she's the best) and ask a bunch of questions. Feeling good about things.
Any feels/vents/etc? Baby is still breech. I've come to terms with the c-section.
Learn anything new? Anesthesia will be a spinal. The epidural sucked last time, so I'm happy about this.
Next appointment: Next Friday, and then c-section on 10/4 (12 days!!!)

How many weeks PP/How old is baby? 12 days old!
How are you feeling? Any concerns? I'm feeling surprisingly well despite the kind of traumatic birth.
How is baby in general doing? Great! He gained an ounce from Saturday to Monday and we are getting ready to head to the pedi for another weight check right now.
How is baby eating & sleeping? Pretty good. He is consistently eating 1.5 oz every few hours. Sleeping is pretty much his middle name.
BF or FF? How is that going? BF/pumping. We're still doing supplemented and measured bottles of breastmilk since his weight was so low so I've been pumping and then just trying to nurse like at least once a day so he gets the hang of it. I'm hoping his weight is good enough today that they say we can stop supplementing but who knows.
Milestones? Both baby and mom. Nothing yet I guess.

thechickencoop They've done a few pelvic exams to look up there, but haven't seen anything amiss. One nurse said she saw blood vessels poking out (????), which is apparently nbd, and the ER doctor said it was coming "from above", which meant further into the opening of the cervix than what he could see, I guess. So, as long as the bleeding is really and truly over, I'm going to chalk the bleeding up to the massive clot/possible SCH I passed last weekend.

I am pregnant check-in
How far along are you? 36+6
Any concerns? How are you feeling? Just getting anxious for labor to start. Having more feels about H being gone.
What kind of appointment? OB - GBS swab and cervical check
How did it go? It went well. Doc had a student with her today, which is the story of my life. I let the student do the swab because after IVF (even being a first time mom) I'm used to having a lot of people in my vag.
Any feels/vents/etc? Sad panda that I'm not dilated at all - which I expected. I know it doesn't mean anything at this point but it would be somewhat encouraging if my body recognized the lavor fast track we are now on.
Learn anything new? Just that I'm a whole lot of not getting ready to have this kid.
Next appointment: Next Friday. Cervical checks from here out and I'm sure we will revisit the induction conversation - which we will likely decline due to timing.

blackmamba the anesthesiologist, for whatever reason, could not get the spinal to work properly for me. I had one last time no issue, but he couldn't get it inserted where he needed, so we had to do the epi. I was still really numb, but felt a lot more tugging and pulling than I did with DD's birth. Given your history with the epi, I hope you don't have challenges with the spinal.

Thanks, mkrupar! I don't want to feel as much this time, so I'm hoping things go well with the spinal. I think I'd rather have general than a crappy epi again.

trinitrotoluene Here it's 4 hours, but if your in active labour they want you heading to the hospital sooner than later to get the dose going. This just reminded me to go check my results online.

I am pregnant check-in How far along are you? 36+2 Any concerns? How are you feeling? The usual 3rd trimester grossness. What kind of appointment? OB, BPP + Growth How did it go? Good, baby girl is estimated at 6 lb 10 oz. It's hard to imagine something that big is in me. And yet, it isn't. She was breathing the whole time they were doing the ultrasound. I hope that's her way of telling us she's ready to be on the outside. Any feels/vents/etc? I hate rookie night in the ultrasound room. They had a resident do the BPP and it took fucking forever. She was so slow. Like 40 minutes. Then the actual ultrasound tech came in and redid all her measurements in 5 minutes. Grrr. I hate being people's guinea pig. Learn anything new? After much hemming and hawing the doctor did agree to let us go as late 38 weeks if we wanted, but told horror stories about uterine rupture I guess to scare the living shit out of us. In the end the surgery schedule was full so we'll have to stick with what we got. Baby will be born Wednesday which will be 37+0. Sorry baby, it's the best we can do! Next appointment: None. Holy shit we're having a baby on Wednesday. ETA: Her head is also waaaaay far down in my pelvis to the point it was hard for them to get the measurement. That also made us think waiting longer than 37 may not be the best plan. She may try to make her exit early.

rebeccabunch, I had a myomectomy 6 years ago. They took out 26 (?) fibroids. It runs in the family, my mom had them too.
