Morning! I had a dream that I was going to a wedding, and I saw tgrimes with her family. They were taking pictures on the sidewalk, all dressed up, so I guess we were all going to the wedding.. .anyway, T had straightened M's hair for it, and it turned a dark chocolate brown in the straightening process. I was so sad that her curls were gone.

At work early for a meeting. The guy that called the meeting before opening, he's 30 minutes late.. super annoyed. I need coffee.

Jack is still sick. Fevers came and went all day. Staying mostly at 103. Ugh. Hopefully today is the last of it.

Thank you. I'm so grateful it was found. She was slipping near the end and had stick it in a box in the basement. No idea why.

Morning. I got an email from C's teacher that a few cases of lice are in the classroom. My head immediately started to itch.

I got up and ran. When I got home C threw a fit and sobbed for a half an hour that I went running without him and that he "never gets to go on night runs" (it was still dark). I explained to him that I need more practice running to prepare for the race next month so he offered to help me run fast like him. Which was nice but if he starts getting up earlier to catch my run, I will lose my mind!
What do you guys pack for lunches? C usually gets a pb sandwich, fruit, cheese, and some goldfish or popcorn. There is a new kid that apparently gets two oreos every day (and never shares, much to C's dismay). In a moment of weakness I got C some oreos at the store last night and packed them. I feel super guilty though because I know then another kid will want them and the whole class will be eating crappy snacks. I'm annoyed (irrationally) that the other kids mom lets him bring cookies to school. Although I know goldfish aren't that much healthier, but they aren't as coveted. Anyway, all that to say do I suck by sending my kid with oreos every now and then?

A is filling in at the school he worked at since 2 instructors are out. The school is on lockdown for a possible shooter. Someone that works in the office was threatened by her boyfriend. Apparently he's already killed one person and told her she is next. Please send them/her all your good thought/prayers. and I could use them too.. I'm a nervous wreck.

Morning ladies! peachsmama That is beautiful! My grandpa collected pocket watches, which my dad now has the collection, although he has distributed some to his brothers and sisters for their kids. He let me pick one out a few years ago that had a stone on it (no value, except to me) that I had made into a necklace...I need to dig it out and wear it. wedding I'm so proud of you and your running! I'm trying to get my motivation back to keep up with my lunch runs, but it's hard! I sprained my ankle almost 2 weeks ago, so I had to take a week and half off and it's driving me crazy. I've been two times this week, so I'll slowly get it back, but reading your posts every morning help motivate me! I think I'm going to sign the paperwork on our HELOC at lunch, as long as H can get there today too, so the anxiety over him being off for 2 weeks with short term disability is getting less.

peachsmama , OMG that is so scary! Have you heard from A at all? Yes. He's texting me and they are still operating. But have all the doors locked and no one is allowed in or out.
