Colin woke up totally fine this morning - no fever and running around like his usual, hyper self. Thank goodness. I feel awful saying it but I'm just too busy right now to miss work unexpectedly and DH is approaching his busiest month or 2 of the year. Stay healthy, kiddos!! I have 3 days of PO left, I'm in the same boat. The worst part is I have days to burn (even after accounting for all my holiday time off), I'm just too busy to take them. BOO.

Also my CPKs were Myra and Fred. Even as a kid, I thought those were weirdo, old people names.

Thanks for all the well wishes for N! He cried a lot at drop off this morning. But when I picked him up he was happy and said he can't wait to go back tomorrow. His class will have 27 kids by Monday.

I had water babies. I loved them, took them everywhere with me. I'm pretty sure they still sell them. I also had a couple CPKs but they were handed down from my cousins, so I have no idea what their names were.

I forced myself to go to boot camp thinking I'd feel better. Of course it was all burpees. I almost left half way through I felt so queasy! I feel like there will be no hiding this pregnancy there, everyone kept asking if I was ok.

Whoa cagoldi. I almost asked you last week if we were due since I fail at tracking my period and was all sorts of bloated. Definitely no baby here. Where's your head at about the potential? On the verge of panic LOL. Every time I pee I'm hoping AF appears. I had a dream a few nights ago I was pregnant with twins. Yikes. Um...I hate to tell you this, but this would be the time to get pregnant with Gemini babies. I realize I'm not being helpful.

Over the summer you guys were so helpful with ideas on how to get Charlie away from the bottle. I started decreasing a half ounce at a time and he was down to a 4 oz bottle at nap and a 2 oz bottle at bedtime. I was super excited about it. I've been giving him a sippy (thanks for the recommendation on those, cagoldi. They were a lifesaver) of 4 oz before bedtime all week to get to tonight when I planned to go cold turkey on the bottle. I know he's tired and his belly is full, but he is so reliant on that bottle to help him soothe. He's been screaming bloody murder mixed in with some pathetic mamas and dadas fur 20 minutes. Wish me luck that I can make it through this evening. ETA: and he's asleep!!

I waited way too long after he turned one and then the summer with all of its lack of a schedule made it even harder. I'd like to be off of the bottles by the end of this month. I think that's a fair plan.

I liked the nuk, too, jewels. I think I washed mine too vigorously because they started to leak very easily.

Oh don't worry, I told the trainers and took a lot of rests and modified a couple things, it was just the worst workout for neasea. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was going full on crazy beast ninja warrior mode dispite pregnancy!

Julia is 10 months tomorrow and she has never taken a bottle, le sigh. I was going to try and get her to take it but all this talk makes me think not.
Should I just put formula in her sippy? I've got two cans left of formua and it's expensive stuff!

I say it can't hurt to try formula in a sippy! Will she drink water or breastmilk from a sippy? I do not envy you guys with kids who refuse anything except breastfeeding, how exhausting!

I've got two cans left of formua and it's expensive stuff! Yeah, at this age I would. Chances are, she won't drink much though at first. Our pedi cleared us to start introducing soy milk at 9 months, I might do that instead of formula or mix the two (or whatever milk you plan to use for her).

It was just snack time before bed and I poured about 3oz into her sippy and she drank it! I'm an idiot, trying to push a bottle. #rookiemove

T thinks he's a teacher at preschool. The director told me every time the kids get in line, he directs everyone where to stand. When they tell him to get in line, he says "I need to get these little kids under control."
My OB got called out to the hospital but I saw the nurse practitioner who I love. She made me feel much better about all my concerns. She also said they are using 12/23 as my due date, not 12/27 as I thought. Got her to sign off on my maternity leave papers. I'm done November 22! Can't wait, my life is trying to kill me.
