This may be a stupid question but does anyone have a wii that they use with their LO? My dad used it during OT at the hospital and it reminded me that we have one in a closet somewhere. I wonder if M would like it.

I never had an american girl doll. I think they became popular after I was out of that stage. I know my SIL had some and she's a few years younger than me. I had a Samantha doll. I loved her. I still have her and all the books. If this baby is a boy I suppose I'll have to pass her on to my niece.

I loved my rainbow brite doll though. And she-ra. I was so jealous of the girl down the street that had a she-ra wig and sword. Same for me, but you're just definitely a few years younger than me. Josie actually play with my old patti-o-green and shy violet Rainbow Brite dolls. She also plays with three my little ponies from the 80s and some black stallion looking horse that I think my western Barbie rode. Like Black Beauty?

We have a bunch that we're given to us, but really the only ones we play are Mario party or the party games where you bowl or shoot darts or something. We've also done the wii fit games with them and they like that!

Not that I'm trying to talk you into it since you know Josie best, but M loves her doll, loves going to the store and loves the cafe. I'm a solid pushover when it comes to things like this. I can almost guarantee come Christmas or her birthday the Tenney doll she wants it will be wrapped up with her bango and guitar accessories. They made a little Asian boy doll last year with a drum set and it took all I had not to get them.

So apparently Cadence's skirt was a little too big this morning and rather than change her into a different skirt mh took her to school and told the teacher, who proceeded to change her into her spare shorts. WTF dude?

I never had an AG doll when I was little because we were too poor. I remember reading the books though. I think I'd like to get that for H's Christmas present this year but we will see. I think she'd like it.

Having preschool in the afternoon is kind of driving me crazy. I basically spend all morning waiting until we can leave, lol. I cleaned the girls' room this morning. Pulled out a bunch of too small stuff, cleared the top of the dresser, vacuumed, etc. I ripped the drywall when I removed a command strip last week (that pissed me off) so I had to spackel that spot and I will repaint it while H is at school and S is napping. I hope N has a great first day of school cheeksmum!

chrisy01 Sorry for the early morning with L. I hope he gets back on track soon. Cher Your pedi must have written this article I read last week about exchanging the term colic for high maintenance. I hope this phase is short lived for him. Hope N has a good day! cheeksmum

trtlcrzy Maddie used to be in afternoon preschool and I liked it because I exercised every morning then took the girls swimming. From there we dropped off Maddie.

Hi!
I've been out running errands all morning. I finally got over to the library to get a card so I can borrow books on kindle. I should have done that before my leave, not right before it's over, but oh well.
I just grabbed lunch, so I'm going home and will pick up a bit then sit and binge watch something before I pick up the boys.

I'm still sad the girls have never really adopted my Care Bears. They're in Maddie's room but she never plays with them. They discovered my troll dolls last time we were at my parents and thought they were freaky. They love to play with the Little People at my parents though.

I don't think they had the dolls when I was growing up, but I remember the books. Never heard of either until a few years ago when Pete's niece started talking about them. So I'm either too old or they just weren't a thing around here. Also, I'm sure I wouldn't have had one anyway because $$$.

lahdeedah, if you're a Prime member there's also a lot of good free books you can borrow from the Prime library. I'm reading the Handmaid's Tale now.

My mom saved for a long time to buy me my American girl. I ended up getting a second one years later. But I still remember when it came in the mail and how happy she was to give it to me. I've saved both in case I ever have a girl. I only had what they came with and I made stuff to go with them. I have Felicity and Josefina.

Hi all! Running like a maniac over here! Hoping you're all staying safe from Irma. Not sure if we have any FL peeps now that flamingo moved? I have several friends down there IRL, and the steps they're taking are quite something. Also hoping the Houston crew is okay. S starts preschool next week, and her teachers dropped by today. Same ones from last year, and it was like two celebrities walked through the door. Then she sat in my lap and just stared at them. B's rash got so bad she scared us a bit. The NP wasn't sure exactly what it was, but likely scarlet fever or a strep rash. Antibiotics cleared her up, thankfully. Shopping for a new pedi now. Both girls are napping, so I ran out the door like the building was on fire (my H works from home), and now I'm sitting in the grocery store parking lot playing on my phone.

I'm pretty sure they had AG dolls when I was young, but I never knew of them until I met my bonus daughter and she had the catalog. My ILs bought her a doll one Christmas and It's still at their house to this day. It will most likely go to my niece.

I had 4 AG dolls. They're all in my basement. Some are in kinda rough shape though because I played with them a ton.

I'm late to all of this, but Josie will "play" Mario kart with the steering wheel. We tried the Wii resort games, but she got bored very quickly. tgrimes, I had to look up the Barbie and the horse. Barbie had a button in her back that when you pushed it she blinked her blue eyeshadow eye, and the black horse was named midnight; there was a golden colored one, too.

I tried to get M to sleep with mine a couple nights ago. She threw it across the room. It took all of my patience to not say, "Look bitch, don't fuck with my care bear, okay?"

I just went to target and the only spot left close to the door was pretty small, but I squeezed my big pilot into it. But then I went to get out and literally couldn't squeeze my belly though the door opening. So I had to get back in and go park in a far spot. #pregnancyproblems
Also, the only thing I went to target for was burts bees tummy butter. I left with double stuffed Oreos, a KitKat, hummus, puts chips, la croix and a new tank top..... but no tummy butter. I need to get it together!

On maternity leave, I was literally there 3 times a week. It's my happy place. But not my bank account's happy place.

X woke up pretty much feeling 100% and we had a good morning but now he's fighting a nap like it's his job.
I probably need to POAS tomorrow morning. I'm not that late but it's kind of uncommon for me. I want to eat everything and I'm feeling tired but that could just be because I'm going to start my period any minute?
