orangehibiscus - I got a baaaarely there squinter tonight, so I wish I could stop now that I know my trigger is almost gone and wait until next Friday to test... but I don't think I'll have the willpower. Maybe I'll set a mini goal of holding out until Tuesday, ha. Do you get cheap tests somewhere? I've been good about waiting to test the last few cycles, but my disappointment was pretty intense last cycle so I feel like a few early negatives might actually help me. Yep - I buy a big pack of cheapies from amazon! But I've heard lots of positive reviews about the dollar store tests.

fatpony, great beta! Early numbers like that plus the number of great follicles you produced makes me wonder about twins! Keep us updated!! jacks - wonderful response! FX that your trigger and IUI go well! I'm sorry about the scheduling issues with work… I'm extremely lucky that I have a job that is completely flexible. I have friends who are teachers and I always think about how hard it would be for them to attend appointments with such little notice. Like people going through infertility treatments really need that added stress, right?

Good luck jacks! That is a good beta fatpony! Congratulations again! I use Wondfo HPTs and Walmart cheapies heartpresidents. **TW previous BFP mentioned** My first BFP was on a Wondfo cheapie. It was literally the squintiest squinter ever, but I could see it and my friend could see it in a picture. My beta the next day was 13. ** End TW**

I'm 11dpIUI and I got a stark white BFN this morning. Also feeling crampy. It could be too early, but I'm already trying to ease my disappointment. I forgot how much this stings, and it is only our first month back at it.

fatpony, jacks, & heartpresidents - thanks, ladies! If this cycle isn't successful, at least the cramps mean my period isn't too far off and we can start the next cycle soon.

Yay fatpony !! Congratulations! I haven't posted much this month, we sat out due to poor timing with going out of town and I was trying to give myself a mental break from TTTC thoughts. I got a BFN today at 13DPO- I'm not too terribly sad, my hopes weren't high and I'm excited to start our first IUI cycle soon.

IUI is done. It was much quicker and less painful this time. Bad news is that post wash sperm count was 2.2 mil. I declined to thaw our last vial and am just hoping this one works.

I am still hopeful for sure!
I didn’t tell H though. I figure there’s nothing he can do about it, so why add that to his anxiety.

It's hard when things don't progress exactly like the textbook says they should. But, that doesn't mean that you don't have a heathy little bean in there!! Is your Doctor ok with the rise? Are they going to give you a third beta for reassurance?

I just had my saline sonogram, and it went well. Uterus looks good, and the "cyst" in my uterus that appeared in my third attempted TI cycle is a very small fibroid measuring 0.7cm. RE said this is nothing to worry about.
She drew an HgbA1C which is the average blood sugar over the last 3 months, and I was not prepared for that! I haven't been taking my Metformin at all or really watching my diet, so I really have to get better about those things. RE said if my HgbA1C is too high, then that might have to delay is some more before we can start TTC again. I'll find out tomorrow.

Have you not been taking the metformin due to the side effects? Are you on the standard dose or the extended release?

Tested again this morning, and had a stark white BFN. Cramps are sticking around and I started spotting this afternoon. So, hopefully this means that CD1 will be tomorrow or Saturday and I can start my next dose of femara early next week. My doctor is going to add Dexamethasone (a low-dose sterioid) which should help me produce more follicles, and will hopefully help them mature closer to CD14. (In our last cycle, we didn't trigger until CD20 due to my slow response.)
