Thanks for getting us started fatpony! Are you finished with your femara doses for this cycle? AFM, I Took my last dose of Femara last Friday and go in for monitoring Friday morning with a probable trigger on Friday night! Just trying to stay cool and calm over here.

wisco FX for a good appointment on Friday! orangehibiscus I hope the next 3 weeks go by quickly for you! AFM, I'm currently waiting to test on the 14th. I'm not even buying a test until the day before so I'm not tempted to test early.

Tonight is my fourth night of femara. I'm having serious cramps right now (which I didn't have at all last cycle, so I hope that means I have multiple follicles growing like crazy!). I'm also exhausted. I go back for monitoring on Saturday morning. Good luck on Friday, wisco! orangehibiscus yea! The time seemed to fly by! jacks, fingers crossed and good luck holding out! welcome to the club, charliefox,

My brother got married this past weekend in SF. It was beautiful, but it meant being gone CD 12-14, so we couldn't do IUI this month. They offered clomid and TI again, but by the time we get the baseline U/S, the monitoring one, etc, its $700-900, so we decided to take the month off treatment, and try our first IUI late this month, early Oct. Who knows, maybe we'll be the tiny percentage who get pregnant on their month off... wisco- fingers crossed for good follicles! jacks- good luck, keep us updated next week orangehibiscus- yay, it’s coming up so quickly!

wilmaroo - I hope CD 1 comes soon? Do you have an ETA? orangehibiscus - Yay! I felt the same what at the beginning of August. It felt like we were finally getting somewhere after ALL THE WAITING. ap21ril - Totally an unhelpful anecdote...but we were one of the couples who gku'd on our break cycle. Either way, I think you made a good decision. It's hard to try to plan our lives around treatment, and then freak out if things happen and we can't control timing. charliefox - Welcome! I'm new to the group although I've had an IUI before. Please ask any questions you may have! jacks - Again, you ladies and your willpower! I haven't even taken my trigger shot yet, and I already have 50 cheapos sitting under my bathroom sink in anticipation. I hate that I pee on so many sticks. I should just wait. But...can't. Won't? I don't know. We'll see how I'm doing in a few weeks. fatpony - Good luck on Saturday! Did you have any side effects from the femara (besides the cramping)? I had terrible mood swings during my doses...and I'm blaming it on that.

Besides the cramping now its really bad joint pain, muscle aches all over, and my arms are asleep every morning when I wake up.

I know wisco! I'm so ready to burn the bench! Sorry for all the symptoms from the Femara fatpony! The muscle aches and joint pains are very typical with letrozole (Femara). Did your arms just start going to sleep after you started Femara?

If a person who had a trigger shot and IUI did want to start testing early... when would that person start testing?

If a person who had a trigger shot and IUI did want to start testing early... when would that person start testing? To test out the trigger? I'd start at day 7. I agree. I usually test at 6 days post IUI (because I'm crazy) and notice that my trigger is completely gone at 10 days post IUI. So I know that if I am getting squinters after the test shows the trigger is gone, I know it is baby related HCG and not trigger HCG. If I wasn't going to test out my trigger, I probably wouldn't test until 12 days after because it would be likely that the trigger was gone and any line was an actual positive. Although my doctor's office says not to trust a pregnancy test until 14 days post trigger...but I've never heard of it taking a full two weeks for the trigger to leave someone's system.

That's strange fatpony! I've never heard of that side effect before from Femara. Did you ask your RE about it?

Just had my CD 14 monitoring appointment. One follicle on the left at 10.5 and one on the right at 9.5. Wah wah. They want me to come on next Wednesday because they could still grow, but I have a strong feeling that we are out this cycle. I've responded well to this dosage of femara before, but the NP who did the monitoring suggested that of course stress can affect the response...
So! We'll see.

Sorry wisco! I hope you have more growth next week. What dose of Femara did you take this cycle? ETA: Question about Femara 7.5mg, which is why I'm shocked by my response. But, my body doesn't like to follow the rules. We will see what next week brings!

wisco sorry for the slow growers. I know how it feels. I burst into tears at my ultrasound appointment when I found out how slow I was growing.i hope they pick I some speed and are where you want them Wed. Afm This cycle is very weird, after having super slow growing folicals and 3 ultrasounds we thought I may have ovulated and missed it bc I had some free fluid and my dominant folical disappeared. After many tests I thought I was out and was waiting for my period but then I started getting ewcm I took some opks and they are positive. I'm confused but I'm going to have all the sex and hope for the best.
