If my meds were in my fridge and I lost power should I still use them or consider them a loss? 2 boxes of menopur. I spent yesterday crying. Rental insurance is saying they don't cover it or my food. I still filed a claim though. **lurking this check in** Menopur shouldn't need to be refrigerated, at least in my experience, so it's probably ok

I still filed a claim though. Just lurking, I kept my menopur at room temp and reconstituted it as needed. Call your nurse if you are concerned but I think it should be fine. Good luck to you!!

Was the menopur still in powder form or had it already been reconstituted? In powder/undissolved form it doesn't need refrigerated - they just say it should be kept below 78 degrees. One vial was. And my gonal-f? My understanding is that it's the same - if it's still in powder it doesn't need refrigerated. Not sure about the pen though.

I'm so sorry about the meds 🍍 🍊 Fineapple 🍍 🍊! If the food in your fridge (milk?) was still cold, then I would still use the meds. If insurance will pay for replacement, then I would do that. FX fatpony! Is your trigger out wisco? ETA: I have 13 days of BCP left! Saline sono is scheduled for a week from tomorrow. The countdown is on!

I finished my femara and am just waiting for monitoring to start. I was surprised that I didn't have any side effects this cycle, even at the higher dose. That didn't stop me from using it as an excuse to eat ice cream sandwiches though. FX fatpony and wisco! That 2 week wait is sooo long.

I haven't felt the urge to test yet. I thought about testing out my trigger, but figured what was the point. If I stay strong and dont' POAS anyways until a reasonable day, then it wouldn't matter. I might even just wait for my beta test.

orangehibiscus - The line was still there yesterday...definitely fading though. I'll probably test again tomorrow or Friday to see if it is gone. Glad the days are ticking down for you! So close! fatpony - I sometimes wish beta or bust was on option for me, but my clinic makes me turn a home test positive before they will order betas. SO, since I have to buy tests anyway, I might as well POAS constantly through my two week wait, right? Seems logical to me! jacks - When is your monitoring appointment? Later this week?

Monitoring is on Friday. CD11, which is early, but they didn't want to risk waiting the weekend since this was the first cycle with the higher meds.

And my gonal-f? I'd call on the gonal, I think you're ok. I can't recall if it was the ovidrel or gonal, but I asked for one and they said the refrigeration is to lengthen the shelf life a few months longer, but it's fine at room temperature if it's only been a few days or so.

Hi all! I'm sorry I suck at checking in. I read everyone's updates on my phone and mean to respond when I'm on an actual computer but never seem to do it. So I'm a dirty stalker.
For me, we did straight injectable cycle this time. I used up the last of my gonal and then switched to follistim (my understanding is they're actually the same thing - follistim was just cheaper). 200 units CD 3-8, then at CD 9 had one follie measuring at 14 and another at 20. Lining was at 10, which is the best we've seen, so I'm excited about that! Triggered that night, IUI today at CD 11. And now we wait...

Since we've discussed this in detail recently, I thought I would provide an update on my trigger. It is now seven days post iui and eight days post trigger and I am still getting a line on a cheapie. It's extremely faint but definitely there.

Monitoring appointment was quick today. It’s still really early for me (IUI last cycle was CD18). Two follicles were at 11 and lining was thin. I’ve had some spotting that finally stopped today, so I think that is a good sign.
I go back Monday for another check.

orangehibiscus - I got a baaaarely there squinter tonight, so I wish I could stop now that I know my trigger is almost gone and wait until next Friday to test... but I don't think I'll have the willpower. Maybe I'll set a mini goal of holding out until Tuesday, ha.

I've been good about waiting to test the last few cycles, but my disappointment was pretty intense last cycle so I feel like a few early negatives might actually help me.

I had a good monitoring u/s this morning. Right side grew to 16 and left had one at 14 and one 11. I’ll be triggering tomorrow morning and IUI Wednesday morning!
Now I just have to figure out how to get time off work. I usually go before work or during lunch, but I have to go sign off on the thawing at 9:30 and then IUI is at 11.

Nurse just called and my beta at 12 dpiui is 100!
Followup on Wednesday and ultrasound week of October 16 to see how many are growing in there.
