Thanks ladies. It's definitely hard when they are so little.
All the talk of fall makes me want to book a trip north for next month. I love when the leaves change color. I hope our next move is somewhere where there is a true fall season.
I also never knew pumpkin was a thing until I moved to Jax after college. It's not big where I'm from. The only thing that had pumpkin was pie at Thanksgiving and I never ate it. I'll pass on all the pumpkin flavored things.

wedding random question - what kind of helmet do you have for C? We have to send one to daycare now and am looking for one that fits wider heads...we have Nutcase, but would be up for spending less than $60.

Nothing we've agreed on yet! If it's a boy the middle name will be wren, which is my maiden name, and if it's a girl the she'll have two middle names, Anita wren. Anita is dh's mom name, who passed away when he was nine. He doesn't love the two middle names, but I want to pass on my Maiden name too, so whatever. He likes wren as a girl first name, but I don't. Here's some ideas we've had: Boys: Greyson Asher Girls: Noah Everly Peyton Cooper Olivia Quinn I really like gender neutral and/or boy names for girls.

I'm stuck on Anderson. For a boy or girl. DH isn't sold. He thinks since we already have a -son ending it's to matchy.

LOVE the name Quinn. Also love the name Lennon. Not that it's on your list, but just throwing it out there.

xolastunicornxo, I'm a sucker for neutral/boy names for girls! We almost just named L Lou instead of her full name. I recently heard Perry for a girl and thought that was cute.

I know the mom guilt is strong but just remember that the kids have no idea they are "missing out" on something. (Not that I think they are missing out) I don't know if that makes you feel any better. His BFF was saying that he was going to school and was asking B to come. He knows he is not going to be with his BFF and not going to school.

@klongoria I love Lennon, but a girl who I didn't like that much from my sorority just named her daughter that. 😒 nam2013 Charlie is one of my all time favorite girl names... but it's also our dogs name! Damn 22 year old me for not thinking about future children when we named him!

Mh and I got in a slight argument yesterday. Today he went and bought me a jacket from Target I told him I liked and a shirt that I couldn't find in Cadence's size. I need to think of some other things to argue with him about!

Could you send him to the new preschool/daycare now?

Drop off went about as well as I expected. She was super excited to go, but when she realized I was leaving she cried and didn't want me to go. I primed her with "Llama Llama misses mama" but I guess that didn't help.

Thanks guys. I have been trying to figure out why it is bothering me so much and it's not really about the 'moment' like I thought. The room he is in now is ages 3-4.5ish. So with all the changes there are now quite a few kids barely turning 3, which seems so much younger than B. He is ready for a change and I know he will thrive in the new place; new friends, learning and especially no naps. We went last week to check it out and he is excited, he also had to check out and approve of the baby room for Julia. Sweetie. trtlcrzy We are slated for Nov 1, so I just have a couple more months.

So my pediatrician thinks H is developmentally delayed. I'm supposed to take him back to the ENT to get his hearing checked.

I'm sorry. Are they thinking potential hearing loss from EIs? Or something else entirely? Yes, hearing loss from all of the ear infections. Well that's not great news, but isn't hearing loss related to EIs usually reversible? Chase's hearing is 100% as of a couple months ago - and he's no longer mute! - and trtlcrzy's S had similar issues that were resolved post-tubes. Hopefully that's the case for H as well.
