My aunt crochets each of our kids a blanket when they are born. (Ours as in mine and my 3 sisters = this will be baby #9). We are trying to decide colours for this baby. I am team green, so not sure what to do. My son has a yellow/greenish one, my daughter's she did after she was Born, so it's white, pink and purple. I'm Leaning towards real, gray, white- but is real gender neutral? Some days I feel like it's not, other days I do. I don't know what to pick yet. Any suggestions? (I'd post pictures but I can't on mobile and can never log in on tapatalk) Teal? I would say that teal, grey, and white is definitely a neutral. A quick Google search showed several pretty versions. Also one with light green, grey, white, and coral.

Check the NHTSA guidelines as well as the car seat manufacturer's guidelines to see if it is necessary to replace the car seat. Replace it. Insurance will cover the cost of a new one. Rule of thumb is to always replace after an accident, even if it looks ok. I had to fight for weeks with my insurance company to get the cost back. I had to show them the guidelines (both manufacturer and NHTSA), send them in the cut straps, send them the receipt, give them the history of the car seat (Britax had stopped making the one I had), and get two managers and my insurance agency involved and have my partner draft a demand letter. They originally said no...then offered a depreciated amount off the cost of the original car seat....then finally agreed because I threatened to sue. I don't think it would have been as bad if my insurance company was different than the insurance of the lady who hit us but since the company was the same, I think they were trying to save themselves some money. But still...it was a difficult process

cdnfarmgirl I am in love with the striped one that has orange on it!! PSA Canadian friends, Canadian Tire has the Evenflo Symphony on for 179 (reg 299). I might try to price match at Walmart to see if we can get the Symphony DLX for the same price!!

My OB appointment went well today - in and out. Made the final decision for RCS and I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.

I hope yours will go as well. Thanks! Two of my girlfriends swear it was the best decision they ever made. The major cons of the RCS for me is the 4 nights in the hospital and not being able to pick up DD1 when I get home. But I feel that I'm going to wind up with an emergency c-section if I try for VBAC and that would be worse. At least with the RCS, I can make plans (unless I go into labor early which would be just my luck LOL)

Woo hoo! The replacement piece came for our changing table and I finished putting it together all by myself! I debated putting the wheels on it ... but I am so glad I did. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170907/b989700b60356c42ed3bcbd5bcddef26.jpg) ETA: sorry its huge and sideways. no idea how to fix it.

hey all who are interested in those blankets, I have a friend from DS' BMB that has a crochet business. Let me know if you want to be connected to her. She made the stars you can see in my pic above and a star pillow that DS has claimed as his own. She makes beautiful stuff. She does hats, blankets, newborn photo stuff, etc.

I had my first of, hopefully, many weekly BPP ultrasounds today. Baby girl is looking good and very squished. They wouldn't do any size measurements because they are not specifically needed for the test, which was slightly irksome. Hopefully my OB will order then another time. The tech did say she was a big girl, but I don't know if she was just saying that or she could actually tell.

Accidentally hit 4oz instead of 10oz on my Keurig. Why is that even an option!? Smallest cup of coffee ever.

I like teal for a neutral colour. That's what I often choose for crochet blankets for unknowns, hehe

I got my Tdap, flu, AND makena shots today. Man, not a good day for me and needles. But my OB was really reassuring about everything going on so I am feeling much better. He doesn't foresee the need for extra appointments, even with the GD. We will start NSTs at about 36 weeks anyway due to age so that covers it. The perinatal office may have other ideas but we'll have to wait and see on that. And now he says that if I make it to 39 weeks, he won't induce me until sometime that week. Before he said he would induce during week 38, before 39 weeks. Ok, cool. (although I still think I will be ready to be done by about 36 weeks ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cheesy.png)

Got the call from the MFM today, and my care has been completely moved to their office. I won't see my ob anymore this pregnancy. Makes me kind of sad even though I know it's necessary for me to deliver at the better equipped hospital. I have an appointment with them next Wednesday, but I have an u/s scheduled at my ob on Tuesday that I really want, so I have to figure out if I'm allowed to still go to that.

Even then, they checked head, leg and stomach.

Thursday evening dance party in my belly. Request being made to move my right hip out of the way for more headroom. Ha! We are going through our nightly hiccup session over here. And by we, I just mean the baby. Although I won't be surprised if I have some indigestion later based on the large amount of Rice Krispie treats I consumed his evening.
