It's hard to know what source to believe about Irma, but local government officials are hinting at evacuation this weekend. My OB will have my records printed for me to take if I need them, which hopefully I won't. I called my mom worried, and she said, "Just talk to those girls and tell them not to come yet!" Super helpful. So much medical education at work. Stay safe! And I'll echo your mom's sentiment lol Stay put, ladies!

Soooo sore. Normally I only feel super pregnant by the end of the day but today my back and hips have been killing me all day. Womp womp. And I didn't even think about it but my colleague reminded me that I likely have to replace my car seat. Check the NHTSA guidelines as well as the car seat manufacturer's guidelines to see if it is necessary to replace the car seat.

Thinking of you all with this stupid hurricane. It's being closely monitored here as well, so I'm in the loop. Think it's too news since the category of it
My parents are going to Mexico in 20 days, Gulf of Mexico, all around the beaches. Do you think it'll be safe then? It's giving me anxiety thinking about that lol

So my sister is in Ft Lauderdale, FL. She is trying to convince her H that they should leave now and he is worried about what the people he works with will think. He cleans yachts, so, yeah. She can work remotely, so she wants to be relocated before the traffic gets even worse. I hope he listens soon.

My friend left Orlando this morning. They've been visiting Disney since Saturday, and were supposed to stay until Friday. There no evacuation planned there yet, but they wanted to leave now just in case. Luckily, they were able to get refunds on their hotel, Halloween party tickets, park tickets, and meal plan, even though the party and meals are supposed to be non refundable. It's really slow going getting home, though.
My ILs live in Orlando, but have no plans to leave yet. Mil said they stocked up on bread, batteries, and water. So that's something, I guess.

Good luck paperbagliz, I'm glad you have a plan. beefinch, I think there's another hurricane headed toward the Gulf of Mexico in that timeframe, but of course it's hard to predict that far out. I hope they have trip insurance. clucky, that's tough. Do they have two cars and can leave separately?

doxiemama no, I'm pretty sure they have 1 vehicle and he may bike to work. Plus I think with all the Trump crap going on, it is best they stay together so no one even remotely thinks he isn't legal.

I wish that wasn't even a consideration.

Rule of thumb is to always replace after an accident, even if it looks ok. Brutal (edit BRITAX) and Diono have different guidelines (pretty sure it is those 2), plus Canada so it could be slightly different. But it will be in the manual or call and they can clarify if there is any question. The brands we have are replace after any accident, so that is always fun.

DS is doing terrible with potty training at school (and not great at home). DH asked him why he didn't want to sit on the potty and he said "I can't pee" very sadly. We will do naked time again this weekend. I legit think he just doesn't understand the feeling of going yet. Poor kid.
It's been raining almost all day. DS said "daddy come play outside with me. You need shoes! It's a beautiful day out." I adore his perspective ♡

I've hit the constantly starving phase. I've done nothing but eat alllllllll day and I'm fucking starving.
I also can't breath. This kid is high right now. I've been gasping like I just sprinted a mile for the last couple of hours.
Ten more weeks, it's so far away still.

So much kicking. So much discomfort. Also ever since my "holy shit am I in labour" freakout on the weekend I have been losing bits of my mucus plug, SEXY RIGHT, but I know that's pretty normal and not a concern. I am also in constantly starving phase. First week of school = parade of treats in the staff room, so in two days I've eaten my body weight in homemade muffins, chocolate bars, Chinese pastries, and cookies. Eep.

She has hung out in my cervix for the last 29 weeks. Not sure why today, for the first time ever, she decided my lungs make good pillows. I think at this stage there's just nothing comfortable about having a small human inside your midsection.

I get punched/kicked simultaneously so it's lots of fun. My doctor says I'm measuring on track but I have a small torso so baby is just running out of room. I still have 8-9 weeks!!!

+1 for the baby running out of room club. I get punches on my lower left belly, hiccups in my butt/vag, and kicks in my right ribs. Kid has been pushing out with back to my belly button ... super comfortable. Gr.

My aunt crochets each of our kids a blanket when they are born. (Ours as in mine and my 3 sisters = this will be baby #9). We are trying to decide colours for this baby. I am team green, so not sure what to do. My son has a yellow/greenish one, my daughter's she did after she was Born, so it's white, pink and purple. I'm Leaning towards real, gray, white- but is real gender neutral? Some days I feel like it's not, other days I do. I don't know what to pick yet. Any suggestions? (I'd post pictures but I can't on mobile and can never log in on tapatalk)

Also a short person with a short torso. There is just nowhere for this baby to go. Ugh.

Waiting for this baby to wake up and have a good wriggle.
It's 12:48pm, I've been awake since maybe half 8. She had a wriggle around 7/half 7am, as it woke me up and DS wasn't awake yet as I couldn't hear him so I went back to sleep.
Had DS 2 year review at our doctors surgery which he's perfectly on track, I think she done a couple rolls during that time at half 10, as I can remember feeling some pressure pushing out, but I was in conversation with the lady so didn't click it.
Just had lunch, and she has just done a couple jabs just while Im writing this but I want a good wriggle lol. Going to drink some water and it's nap time in a minute so I'll lay on my left side and hope that will get her going for a good wriggle. She done this yesterday though, moved a couple times in the morning, a couple in afternoon and then went mental for like 2 hours in the evening before we went to bed (which is exactly how DS used to be) so I'm not to worried. I think it's because since I'm nearing 32 weeks I'm getting really paranoid about movements now
