I love Disneyland. We had s pre-ttc vacation there before we started tryong for E. So much fun! We won't go back until we're done having kids and they're old enough to appreciate it. And then we'll go to Disneyworld since that's the coast we actually live on.

I'm officially at the point of pregnancy where my crappy sleep bothers H enough that he leave the room at night. I'm going to the fair with sixty grade today, so when it hurt to lay on my hips last night I opted to sleep on my back so I'd spare myself for miles of walking. Except I'm apparently too big to sleep on my back and was "snoring" all night. And by snoring I mean air was getting stuck in my airway and making a terrible sound. So I basically gave myself sleep apnea all night. Damned if I do, damned if I don't. Gosh, 11 weeks sounds so far away.

Morning! It's a beautiful day here. Unfortunately I will spend most of it indoors at my office.
We're having a few rooms painted, including the master and the new guest room (office with pullout couch). This may not have been my best plan since we are now sleeping on the couch! I'm excited for them to be done, especially because they are painting the nursery. Once that's done, we can start setting up more / I will know what I need to get to decorate (rug size, etc).
I'm 30 weeks today. Given that it's twins (and they won't let me go 49 weeks), I'm down to 8 weeks to go!!!!

spacecadet I am you. No interest in Disney. I'd much prefer hiking and seeing the scenery and nature. When we travel we specifically stay as far away from touristy spots as possible. But.... the toddler is so obsessed with MMCH that it would be adorable to see his reaction lol

We both have taken turns sleeping in other rooms at different points, but are too stubborn to make any move semi-permanent. I do think he is seriously regretting not making upgrading our full bed a higher priority, though.

I think that nurse hit a nerve or something. My right leg has been one big cramp since last night and it hurts my lower back whenever my pants or underwear rub against the injection site. Which is often.

I looked today to see if I was going to be 28 or 29 weeks tomorrow and apparently I'm going to be 30 weeks tomorrow - when did that happen?

It was the best decision we ever made.

Hope today goes well cnf! AnnPerkins, sorry yesterday's nurse sucked, and also, a FULL sized bed? Even I have a queen, haha. King sized seems too big to me though. Ugh, I'm finally getting to the hot point of pregnancy. I was SO SO sweaty last night, it was annoying and also gross. I slept on the couch for a bit, just for a change of scenery.

Looks like I caught DD's cold. I'm trying to be positive and think at least we are sick now and not when DD2 is here.

I think that nurse hit a nerve or something. My right leg has been one big cramp since last night and it hurts my lower back whenever my pants or underwear rub against the injection site. Which is often. It's definitely possible especially if they are too far in and low. That could also be why it hurt so much when she did it. MH grazed my sciatic one and it took me a couple days to recoup ( I literally had to lift my pant leg with my hands to swing it into the car). I hope it goes away soon!

H and I slept in a Full on vacation a few years ago and I would wake up nose to nose with him, no thank you. Between the two of us, the snoogle, and at least one of our dogs we need a king.

We sleep on a full size bed at my in-laws' house. The last time we went (when I was like 25 weeks), DH slept on a mattress on the floor because I legit couldn't sleep. I cannot deal with him breathing in my face. They already told us that they will getting a queen size bed before the next time we visit. Thank goodness.

There's a very small chance that we will be meeting up with DH's family to go to a football game in 2 weeks. It's about 3-4 hours from us, so we don't really want to drive back and forth in one day.
A friend has a lake house much closer that DH's parents said we might be able to stay at. My conditions for going at all include a definitive yes that we can stay the night at the lake house and that I have an actual bed to sleep in. I will not settle for a pull out couch or air mattress, though I will concede to a bottom bunk of a bunk bed. IDGAF where my children or husband sleep.

That 3 hour test suuuuuuuuuuuuucked. I watched episodes of Shameless on my phone so the time went by pretty quickly but 4 blood draws made my arms so sore. I ate a couple of crackers and had some water before I went to get my shot but apparently it wasn't enough because as the nurse was talking to me I got super sweaty and shakey. I shoveled more crackers in my mouth and am eating lunch now. I feel better but man, I am super tired. A nap is in my near future.
My fasting number was 62 so that was a really good start. Sadly that is the only draw they test right there so I don't know any of my other numbers. Hopefully I'll have them by tomorrow.

I can pretty much sleep anywhere so this would be what i would do the entire time

I am in SUCH a mood for no specific reason
H just said very cautiously, "what's the matter?", in a very nice way and I just snapped back, "you are just annoying me, don't speak"
He just looks away after glancing at the bump... yes I'm hormonal because of the baby!!!

If I would have been back in a room there is no doubt I would have just slept between blood draws!

grumpycat, we kinda-sorta forced the ILs into getting a queen if they wanted us to visit frequently after we moved away. We did help them find a killer deal, and get it to their home. They ended up taking the new mattress in their room and switched their old queen out to the guest room. Plenty fine by me. It became a win/win situation for all involved.
