roloma, that seems like a great fasting #. Mine was definitely higher than that and I passed the 3 hour. I hope you do too! Take it easy this afternoon.

My ILs have the smallest queen bed known to man. H and I have a king at home but we sleep in a queen at my sister's house without a problem. The one at my ILs house feels like we are on top of each other when we sleep - it's also so firm that the floor seems softer.

grumpycat , we kinda-sorta forced the ILs into getting a queen if they wanted us to visit frequently after we moved away. We did help them find a killer deal, and get it to their home. They ended up taking the new mattress in their room and switched their old queen out to the guest room. Plenty fine by me. It became a win/win situation for all involved. My mother in law uses me and my kids as reasons to get improvements done around her house. They've put in an upstairs bathroom, central air conditioning, and will be re-doing the bedrooms upstairs in the next year since I got pregnant with my first lol. It's all stuff that's been on their to-do list for years, but she was finally able to convince my FIL that it was time. She's a smart lady. I think DH and my brother in laws feel a bit like chopped liver, but they are definitely reaping the benefits.

I'm officially at the point of pregnancy where my crappy sleep bothers H enough that he leave the room at night. I'm going to the fair with sixty grade today, so when it hurt to lay on my hips last night I opted to sleep on my back so I'd spare myself for miles of walking. Except I'm apparently too big to sleep on my back and was "snoring" all night. And by snoring I mean air was getting stuck in my airway and making a terrible sound. So I basically gave myself sleep apnea all night. Damned if I do, damned if I don't. Gosh, 11 weeks sounds so far away. when I lay on my back I can't breath at all! I hope you make it through today with no pain! I slept on my back the whole time last pregnancy for the most part. I do snore less on my side though. I should be a nice wife and suck it up since I sleep like crap no matter what

They've ditched their carpet, redone the family room, got A/C, and upgraded the boys old rooms to an office and a guest room. It all needed to be done. They have a really cool house, but no significant upgrades since it was built in the 60s. I think a lot of it is due to how I host people. I love having guests and giving them a comfortable, welcoming space. They did not grow up like that or experience it as adults from their own families.

Oh man I am tired. A mile plus walk to, all around the fair, then the walk back. Thankfully other teachers were starting to think I needed a break and admins picked me up partway through the walk back, but even so I'm at almost 17k steps right now. And I'm going with sixth grade to the regional market tomorrow, so about a mile walk to, walking around, then walking back. I also promptly ripped my favorite maternity shorts squatting down to pick something up off my floor after getting back, so I'm super sad about that since I wear these not pregnant too.
I need a nap!

I just ran into motherhood to pick up some leggings. When I was being rung up, the associate asked if I had gotten my snoogle yet. I said yes, I bought it on Sunday at full price and the sale started on Monday! So she gave me a $20 price adjustment! So super nice. I ended getting 3 pairs of yoga/leggings for like $40. Not complaining!

My mum also uses the fact that I'm giving her more grandchildren to do things to the house lol.
I'm an only child (makes her more obsessed with any kids I give her lol) and when I lived with them, I had the whole of the upstairs to myself (2 bedroom and a bathroom) I used one of the rooms as a living room... when I moved out etc, however long later she made that into DS's room lol, it's a green football room.
She's just sent me a load of pictures of another room in the house that's she's done. It's DD room, a yellow butterfly room/guest room. It used to be an old storage room full of crap from the house
She's warned me I can only have 3 kids as they only have 3 spare rooms haha. My dad is going nuts as he's saying we've finally got rid of her (me, I moved out when I was 23 lol) and now you are encouraging her kids to come here 😂😂, he's joking, he adores DS lol

Since I've gone back to part time with the new job, I'll be working maybe 2 days a week. DH is ok with that. I will miss my nice big paycheques and the overtime though.

FYI: The instructions on my iron pills say, "Avoid taking antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee within 2 hours before or after this medication because they will decrease its effectiveness."
Also on their website they specifically point out that like many other multi vitamins, this one does not contain any calcium for optimal iron absorption.
In other words, -10 points for the UK.

This baby does not stop moving. So many big rolls and kicks. It's crazy. I never had this with my other two. So interesting.
On other news- my daughter got a goose egg the size of a goofball on her forehead today. So that was fun. She ran into the corners of walls in the hallway. She cried for 10 minutes, then cried for 5 minutes when she saw it in the mirror and then asked to go play. Lol. It's gone down now a lot so that's good.

Morning! It's a beautiful day here. Unfortunately I will spend most of it indoors at my office. We're having a few rooms painted, including the master and the new guest room (office with pullout couch). This may not have been my best plan since we are now sleeping on the couch! I'm excited for them to be done, especially because they are painting the nursery. Once that's done, we can start setting up more / I will know what I need to get to decorate (rug size, etc). I'm 30 weeks today. Given that it's twins (and they won't let me go 49 weeks), I'm down to 8 weeks to go!!!! I certainly hope they wouldn't let you go 49 weeks. 😝 LOL - that may have been the worst typo ever!!!

Well this morning was manic.
Woke up to our cat limping around, not weight baring at all on her swollen paw. Called emergency vets and brought her straight in, H stayed at home with DS, he had to go to work as soon as I got back.
We thought she might have been hit with a car or something, but she has an infected cut from something. So antibiotics for her for the next week. She was not happy getting an injection and almost savaged the vet lol, I did warn her she's quite unpredictable.
So she's sulking upstairs sleeping on our bed for the day now, and DS is refusing to keep any clothes on.
DD's rolling around a storm making my heartburn worse lol
Is it time for a nap??

The toddler is carrying around a small piece of sausage from breakfast. He won't eat it but screams when you try to take it away or tell him to eat it or throw it away. It's pretty amusing lol kid loves his food

Are you ok otherwise? yes, we are about 400 miles from Houston so we are safe. Gas prices are just going through the roof and stations are running out. No one is really sure when they will get more fuel because of the coast and trucks needing to come from that area to re-fill the stations. I am not really a panicky person but I thought better get it while I can in case. Plus it is Labor Day weekend so many drive out of town and take boats out in this area... all adds up to low fuel supply. . Thank you for asking!!

Our area was pretty bad with damage (not our house/property). I have a has station/convenience store up the street so i would walk up and call friends and family if they had gas so they could head over and not wait in line lol
